Use to go to this place ages ack but somehow skipped going to this place until one fine breakfast ride followed next week with a lunch ride. Talking about the place located 50kms away from Pune on the Mulshi-Pune highway. A word of caution the initial entry to the resort could be a bit slippery during rains and winters too as it's an incline.
Coming to the location the place is located with no doubt very picturesque locale overlooking the Mulshi Lake and thick foliage
Won't talk currently about the stay option which is also an option here coz only went to have food here this time. So in terms of the on two separate occasions that I was here at. We ordered Chicken, aloo, paneer paranthas and Lassi all of them were no doubt super yumm and tasted just how you would have them at home.
Second time when I was here we ordered Full Tandoori Chicken, paneer butter masala, Butter Chicken and butter naans and not to forget their signature Lassi. So in full tandoori chicken one gets 8 pieces not so big nor so small but slightly bigger than average, aptly cooked in the tandoor with proper amount of marination and the chicken was juicy too. Can't say much about Paneer Butter Masala as it was consumed by the vegetarians. Coming to butter chicken oho it was like butter chicken tey khurana moment for me literally. Generally most of the places across Pune where I have tasted butter chicken it mostly sweet which is generally not the case with authentic butter chicken at all. So the family been a Punjabi family has maintained that the quality of food is good which reflected in the butter chicken it wasn't sweet at all and after a very long time I could see good amount of Butter on top of butter chicken simply finger licking good accompanied by soft butter naan again no dearth of butter here too.
So, after relishing some yummy food we all ordered 2 Patialas. Don't be shocked guys here when I say Patiala it's not the name of the city or a Patiala peg but Lassi which comes in a super giant glass enough to cater to 4 ppl as per their regular glass. No dearth of richness in the Lassi too kudos to the food department. Quality well maintained.
Post having some great food we went for a little hike to the lake shore for which there is way through the property. One can go for the same even before eating food too as post eating food it can be a bit tiring with full stomach.
Few pointers. Food a bit overpriced even though the quality is good. A big word of caution that one have to wait for long from food been order to be served on the table. Owners kindly look into this point deeply and think about it. Yes the property charges 2% extra to pay thru cards but so does many places in the cities so if one doesn't have a problem y a problem. though owners could look into this pointer too. In terms of the property would suggest owners maintenance of the property is required as it's huge potential...
Read moreI HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING IN THIS PLACE It was our first visit to mulshi and we randomly came to paradise hotel in hopes of having a good weekend, but our experience ended EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY BAD. Starting with the rooms!! The bathroom doors were broken, no hygiene in the room as their were used pads under the bed which were not cleaned from god knows when and upon finding out instead of apologising, the staff scolded us for moving the bed a little for our convenience as we were travelling with 2 children. No amenities to provide except for the river view which you will get bored of after a while, basic thing like wifi is also unavailable No room service and you have to place your order at the counter instead of waiters attending to you like its a hostel They charged us 4 and 5 k for two rooms respectively and charged for extra beds that was discounted later but highly overpriced for the rooms that they have to offer!! The owners Mr Tejpal and Mrs Anita Bedi were extremely rude to us as they were charging us wrongfully for a bed that we did not break, it wasnt even the bed that we moved, demanded Rs 10000 from us at the time of checkout in the guise of repair and maintenance and threatened to damage our car if we did not do so. All rude things said to the females of our family, calling us slum people and insulting in everyway possible. Eventually after finding out that we were not at any fault, all pretentious apologies came in, suddenly all their behaviour changed. But it was extremely meaningless. Their daughter in law was the most sensible person and tried to reason out with us throughout. Apart from that, the original owners and the staff are extremely rude and arrogant. The waiters talk and behave as if they are the owners themselves The only good thing about this place and our weekend was food, especially the patiala lassi is to die for Overall a very wrong decision to choose this place as there are far better properties like jaydipp farms and jalsparsh resort around the area. Please only visit for the food and stay somewhere else. This place has nothing...

Having said this, the food is delicious, and the rooms are cosy. Kindly carry your own toothbrush and paste or buy it at the property. All necessary items are available on the property, most rooms have TV.

There is a shop inside selling some amazing binoculars and gifts at pretty subsidised rates.

PS- Bhaskar, their manager is a shrewd guy, so Uncle (Amitji's dad) gave my children two lollipops from his shop , Bhaskar charged it for 60Rs in my final bill 🥲, I'm not sure if...
