I went for buffet. Honestly I was expecting good quality food. But unfortunately it was very disappointing that the food was not at all good. I literally had fruit plate and few pieces of fish that was offered with salad. No doubt the ambience was superb. Hats off to the Management that they have maintained this place. But food was very disappointing. I would say it's a good place to hangout but for dinner specifically it's not that great. I wanted to give one star but one extra star only for the ambience. Hopefully the food quality improves. Its bit expensive too. Per person I was charged 1000 and we were 4. So you get very good options in Pune for 4k budget. This buffet was like a 450~ kind of quality. Also if the Management is reading this review then I have a suggestion. You guys can change the ambience a bit to more of traditional seating so people can feel the historic part...

The paitha Restaurant located in Fort Jadhavgadh is the place for you to satisfy your tummy cravings after your activities in the fort. Located at the base of the fort, the restaurant has Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Buffets served everyday with a cyclic menu.

The menu focuses on Maharashtrian cuisine to go with the theme of the fort, but you shall find everything from Bengali to Continental cuisine available.

There are live counters as applicable for Chaat, dosa , eggs, waffles and desserts!! So you can have food fresh to your plate. You have a lot of variety to choose from so there's something for everyone. And with all the activities at the fort, you're bound to be famished and this is the perfect place to satiate that hunger! The food here isn't over the top, but with the combined experience, the entire package...

Payatha located outside the Jadhavgadh fort is a deceptive ethnic restaurant. With a locally designed ambiance, live music and fort view, it seems really authentic until you taste the food.

We found the Lunch spread to be better than the Dinner spread here. The buffet served here is not very good. All food items from starters, main course, desserts and even the live counters are below par. I expected the Maharashtrian cuisine to be better than this. The price for buffet is Rs. 1000 per person, which is too steep for such poor quality of food. Even the breakfast here was disappointing.

I hope the management takes the general public consensus seriously and improve on their food as poor food quality was the reason for us not...
