Shanghai Chinese Corner — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Initially, I had a strong affinity for this restaurant and frequently visited with a friend, often placing orders at least twice a month, largely due to my enjoyment of their chopsuey and chutney. However, over time, I have observed a decline in the quality of the food. The flavor of the chutney has changed, and it appears that the chicken is not being properly cleaned prior to cooking.

Additionally, I have experienced issues with the food being served at an inadequate temperature, which negatively affects both the taste and aroma. The unpleasant smell is reminiscent of a poorly maintained chicken shop. Given these concerns, I can no longer recommend this restaurant...

Came for the soyabean chilli, seeing the pic of the old menu - but they didn't have it on their menu...

I asked the receptionist if he had soyabean chilli, he said no at the start but then inquired with his chef - then he went out of the way to call someone & got the soybeans to make the dish.

The dish was unique (since the soyabeans used were small) & tasted good.

Although the soft drinks are not super chill & the ambience is low-mid

The taste & service is good...

Will recommend the soybean chilli...

Summing up the rates and quality it provides all are good for a hungry person. But only thing why it loses 1 star is because of the quality of soup not that good otherwise best for quantity. But if you go too often to this place you will get bored of its taste for new taste to try you can move down side of the road where AS Chinese restaurant is there and you cannot judge it's quality...
