I recently dined at Datta Snacks Corner and had a rather perplexing experience. While the food undoubtedly pleased my taste buds, the service and cleanliness aspects left a lot to be desired.

Let's start with the positives: the food. The menu offerings were delightful, and the dishes it's clear that the kitchen knows how to create a satisfying culinary experience.

However, the service was a complete letdown. The staff appeared disinterested and overwhelmed. There was a lack of attention to customers, and it took an inordinate amount of time to even place an order. It felt as if the employees were more focused on their own conversations than catering to the diners.

The real disappointment, though, was the cleanliness of the establishment. The tables were grimy, and the floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. It's disheartening to see such a lapse in basic hygiene, especially in a place where people come to enjoy their meals.

Despite these glaring drawbacks, the food was the saving grace. The flavorful dishes managed to overshadow the service and cleanliness issues to some extent. If Snacks Corner can address its customer service shortcomings and seriously ramp up its cleanliness game, it has the potential to become a top-notch dining destination. Until then, the experience remains a perplexing mix of culinary delight and...

This is a dual outlet of famous Shree Datta Snacks, one in front of the another, on opposite sides of the road. (Old Mumbai-Pune Highway) (A new outlet is opened just opposite to the original outlet since older one used to get overcrowded.)

Both the outlets are famous for the Maharashtrian Snacks it serves.

Parking: In spite of the big parking area, getting vacant parking can be a big task.

Washroom: Available at new outlet

Food: It has varieties of snacks - Sabudana Vada, Sabudana Khichdi, Vada Pav, Kanda Bhajji, Batata Bhajji, Moong Bhajji, Misal Pav, Thalipeeth, Kothimbir Vadi, Mutter Patice, Pohe, Kharwas to name a few.

Service: It is a self-service outlet. Most of the time the place is crowded and first you will have to be in a queue at the payment counter (Yes, it's a prepaid outlet), then to collect your order & wait to get a vacant table. Service sometimes feels slow & mismanaged due to lesser staff.

Verdict: It's a good option to try varieties of Maharashtrian snacks, if you have considerable patience to tolerate a waiting time.

Suggestion to Management: (Management needs to work on improving TAT in “Kitchen Operations” & at “Payment Counter” as well. Spending 30-40 mins in wait for QSR seems impractical. Overall waiting time shouldn't be this long for any such outlet. I saw many cars leaving the venue after seeing the...

Dil jeet liya. Mast Snacks! Poha 👌, Vada pav 👌👌.

Absolutely impressed with the overall dining experience! From the moment the meal was served, it was clear that attention to detail and quality were top priorities. The presentation was inviting, with vibrant colors and careful plating that immediately sparked excitement. Each element was thoughtfully prepared, offering a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and aromas.

The meal was hearty yet well-balanced, leaving a sense of comfort and satisfaction without being overly heavy. Every bite delivered a delightful mix of warmth, spice, and freshness, showing skillful execution and an understanding of flavor harmony. What stood out most was the consistency in taste and texture—nothing felt rushed or underwhelming.

The variety was impressive, offering something for every palate, and everything complemented each other beautifully. It's rare to find such a seamless combination of richness, subtlety, and nourishment in one meal.

Service was attentive and prompt, further elevating the experience. It's the kind of meal that leaves a lasting impression—not just because it was delicious, but because it felt thoughtfully crafted and genuinely satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable, fulfilling dining experience. Looking forward to returning for another...

Sri Datta’s snacks is famous for yummy Maharashtrian snacks Location on junction where Panvel ends & Goa highway / Pune highway/ jnpt highways starts. This is the main original branch. They have multiple branches on mumbai nashik highway mumbai Pune expressway & now a new one right across the old one Do not miss misal pav (mention if you want less spicy) pav vada kokkam sarbat Misal is served hot container details in pic with 2 pav. Kokkam chass are chilled. Karvas also is yummy tooo Have tried most of the dishes & haven’t been let down. They also sell dry snacks like chakli The place opens early and around 6 am you can be assured full service. There is hardly any place to sit and eat so on weekends be prepared to stand and eat. The place gets dirty especially in rains. You can always sit in your vehicle and eat. It’s self service restaurant so you have to pick ur coupon & food from the counter. Hopefully the new one built opp the road has more seating which I haven’t yet been too but have shown in videos of this review Met some folks who driver down 20 plus Km to have breakfast here !!! Worth it. Yes 🙌🏻.
