The Woods — Restaurant in Maharashtra

The hotel has excellent options in terms of restaurants. Although The woods was closed due to rains (which opens during Diwali time) when we went there for our anniversary the staff at the Longitude Bar helped us try the menu from the Woods at the Bar. The Prawns Tempura Sushi and the Crispy Lotus Stem in Particular were exquisite. We were also able to order the menu from the Multi cuisine restaurant Latest Recipe at the the bar. We ordered a Veg Pizza with Pineapples, Bell Peppers and Olives which was prepared amazingly and was the highlight of the night. The staff also served us a cake as we were celebrating an anniversary. The service at the restaurant was exceptional as well. Pushpendra and Shambhu made us feel right at home. The Woods is a fine dining Pan Asian resturant located inside Le Méridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa.

We keep visiting this property but never had a chance to eat at Woods restaurant, this time we decided to definitely give it a try as we had heard some good feedback.

The restaurant is only open for dinner and you need to reserve your slot at either 7:30pm or 9:30pm.

We were served by Nagesh who really took good care of us and suggest good options to try. Food was delicious and well presented. All the four dishes we tried were tasty 👌🏼

Ambience is beautiful with fireplace and they also provide personal coal segdi on request.

Chef and the resturant manager also make sure you are enjoying your food.

Note that the menu in quit small so you have very limited options to choose.

The woods is an amazing dining experience. We’ve been here a couple of times are thoroughly enjoyed it. First of all, the ambience and the atmosphere is so calming and peaceful. You’d be literally dining in the forest. The place is very nicely done. The food served here is pan asian style and is delectable. We’ve tried dimsums, noodles, fried rice, soups, desserts and everything is pretty neatly done. The vegetable crystal dumplings, molten cocoa cake, melon brûlée, fried rice were really nice. The portion sizes for almost all the dishes are slightly smaller than usual. The staff is incredible and gave us great recommendations.
