Food was so bad even DOG rejected!! If possible I would rate this restaurant in minus. I ordered 5 food items from this restaurant during my vacation stay at Karjat. Veg Manchurian balls were completely burnt. Paneer in Paneer chilli was hard as rubber and Chicken lollipop and Chicken crispy had powdered coating, and chicken was stale. Spent 1600 for the complete order and around 1300 was wasted, owner only refunded 300 after we argued with him. He was not ready at first but latsr on he agreed after lot of arguement. It ruined the entire mood of our night out. Later on we offered that food, to dogs in the property, and even they rejected it. I would never recommend ordering from this place, rather stay hungry if this restaurant is the only option. We threw the food away, though felt very bad, but couldnt risk health.
Edit 1: Replying to Visawa owner I live in Mumbai, where the climate is humid throughout the year, but never faced such soggy and powdery food. So please refrain from wrongly justifying your food quality. Veg manchurians were burnt, was that also because of Humid or cold weather? Also I agree you had requested me to come to restaurant and have fresh food, but since no vehicle I refused. So I asked for refund, and never asked for full return, I asked for half refund, and then for atleast Rs. 500, since 1600 was spent in ordering the food. You advised that you could pay only 300-400, and I, though reluctantly agreed to it, and when I asked to send, you mentioned to request from Zomato end. So don't mislead people by saying that I was not fair. Maybe try being fair next time in your replies, rather than misleading people. We appreciate owners who are open to accept...

We had:- Prawns tava fry - A MUST! Karjat being located around 4 hours from the nearest coast, we did not have high hopes from this dish. But boy were we wrong! The prawns were as fresh as they come, medium sized, and oh so beautifully marinated and fried! Served with fried garlic, this dish is finger lickingly good!
Prawns koliwada - Mumbai sion is supposed to serve the best koliwada prawns. But they hold nothing on this place! Not kidding. It’s all about the spices, the marinade and the frying technique! AGAIN A MUST!
Visawa special chicken - chicken pieces on bone slathered in thick masala. A vati of thin rassa is served alongside. The taste is typical of a marathi home…just the right spice combination. And the rassa was exceptional!! You just don’t get such complex flavour profiles in Mumbai!!
Sol kadi was ok ok.
Rice we wish were indrayani.
When you are in Karjat,...

The reviews surely are not genuinely gathered. Because the food, the service even the condiments, were all horrible in quality. The service wasn't just slow but was lacking any knowledge of the food. One of the servers had his thumb firmly dipped into the raita for added flavour along with the sweat dripping over our food, no wonder the food tasted of MSG and sweaty armpit.
The lights went off a few times. Even the cut veggies were stale and unfortunately a couple of dishes were undercooked. The solkadi had spoilt as well. Part of our orders were forgotten on multiple occasions.
Had to vomit as soon as we left the place, unfortunately it wasn't the experience we expected after reading the reviews.
Please avoid, unless you want to spoil a good day...
