One of the best places to eat in Mayapur if you are on a very tight budget.
They serve basic rice, dal and subjis (all you can eat) for a nominal price.
Don't expect five star service as they serve tens of thousands plates daily. However the food is tasty and authentic Bengali cuisine.
Be prepared to wait in a long line (even after buying coupon, which you must obtain ahead of time). After you enter, you will be seated on the floor and served prasadam in a very civil but quick manner. You will have to eat and vacate for the next batch.

Man! I just love this simple but sattvic Prasad! I always skip the white rice, got enough of it.... But the kichri and subjis are amazing! Gotta love that place, but don't expect much varieties like Gulabjamon, papadam etc. Etc. It is simple and tasty and for 40 rupees is not a big deal, especially when coming from a western country... Enjoy your Prasad and stay in Sridham Mayapur!...
