Today I took off from work as I had some personal errands to run. And it just so happened that I was in R&R Colony in Rynjah at around 1pm to pick up some stuff. So I took this opportunity to visit @momojunctionshillong which was recommended to me by @unique_foodz_shillong a couple of months back. I didn't take much notice of this as I usually go out to enjoy a meal rather than a snack. But today it was 12 noon & perfect for a snack. I looked up Google Map which eventually took me 200meters ahead. Infact this place is bang opposite to the hole-in-the-wall place that served such wonderful mutton handi, Flavors of Kolkata. Like literally bang opposite. I walked in & this was another hole-in-the-wall setup. Only difference is that this had more items on the menu. Something like 100+ varieties of momos. Well for a change even I was impressed. Not wanting to spoil the moment, I started looking for the most oddest momo dish on the menu pasted on the wall, & it was their Tuna Fish version of the Chilli Dry Fry momos. To be honest, I was too excited to read the entire menu & was so dumbstruck with the word tuna. Infact they have a variety of momo styles with tuna as a filling. Anyway my order arrived after 15mins. It looked like a plate of chilli chicken dry but with momos instead. Infact the sauce tasted exactly like chilli chicken. Now I was very curious to see how the Tuna will fit into this. So I took a bite. And boy oh boy, this was quite the perfect match. The tuna retained its own flavors but the chilli chicken sauce gave it a bang. I guess this proved a point that opposites attract. The 6 pcs were more than enough if you want just a starter. Overall I was very impressed.

I have never seen momo been served as full plate and half plate, we order Peri peri which cost rs148 , when seen the little pieces of momo for the price paid it is really disappointing. Momo dose is far better in terms of of taste and quantity. Momo junction will write long review to justify what they serve, they are entire to do so. They think they know how to run the business while others doing business for so many years doesn’t know anything about quality or...

Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely fast food in Shillong. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Their momo is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best momo we had in Shillong....
