Amantran Casual Dining — Restaurant in Mumbai

I've been here a couple of times earlier where I would always compare the food and experience with a 4star hotel. Disappointed this time. Service was sloppy, rather non-existent at times. One guy running around 8 table's. He can definitely start participating in 100 meter sprints after all the practice. Suffocating washroom, interiors less said the better. Talking about the food we ordered non veg platter, moroccon kebabs, smoky chicken kebab, chk biriyani and hakka noodles , dabba methi chicken, Pot rice and Naans. Naans were like papad without the taste. Moroccan chicken that was recommended had no flavour. Biriyani was too wet, full of masala and two pieces of chicken. How can you have a masala mixed, fried rice style cooked biriyani called dum biryani. The non-veg platter had chicken chilly with some sticky gravy, yuk. Basa in some green masala just because it's cheap, not done. Chi hakka noodles with some vegetables thrown in, no flavour at all. Why use veg noodles for nonveg dishes, better don't say they are non veg noodles. The only saving grace was dhaba methi chicken , chi tikka and the mango mocktail. Guys pull your socks up, won't recommend anyone for the service and the taste. Much better places around...

Post lockdown, this was my very first dine in with my family and was truly very satisfied. They had taken all the safety measures with respect to Covid situation currently.

Place was hygienic, clean, taken all safety precautions, waiters were wearing face protection along with gloves in hand. The food quantity and quality both were superb. The manager was very polite.

We went for all time classic meal and enjoy it very much.

Chicken Lollipop : Absolutely Crispy from outside and soft from inside. The Schezwan chutney gave a perfect hand in hand taste to it.

Chicken Munchow Soup : The Quantity of it was superb along with it's taste. In the soup they provided a piece of deep fried prawns which elevated it's taste. They bring the soup in a small jar and pour it in the bowl in front of us. The aroma from it makes its hard to resist. The shredded chicken pieces were in great quantity too.

Masala Papad : This is the classic chat in any restaurant and it was upto the mark with respect to it's taste, crispiness as well as the freshness of the vegetables on it.

Would highly recommend people to visit...

The ambience of the restaurant is quite pleasant with awesome instrumental background music, live scores of cricket matches, elegant artistic decor... The remarkable feature of menu scanning and accessing on your cellphones is amazing... Good place for family and group gatherings... The staff is very supportive and courteous...
