Bhau Vada Pav is a popular vada pav shop in Bhandup, Mumbai. It is known for its jumbo vadas, which are made with fresh potatoes and spices. The vadas are then deep-fried to perfection and served in a soft pav bun with your choice of chutneys.

The vadas at Bhau Vada Pav are large and juicy, and they have a nice, crispy exterior. The chutneys are also fresh and flavorful, and they complement the vadas perfectly. The pav buns are soft and fluffy, and they hold up well to the filling.

Overall, Bhau Vada Pav is a great place to get a delicious and affordable vada pav. The vadas are large and flavorful, the chutneys are fresh, and the pav buns are soft and fluffy. The service is also friendly and efficient.

Since ages, I have been enjoying eating 'bhau vadapav'. The consistency is what I appreciate! Bhau vadapav is always my preference when it comes to having a vadapav or if I am near bhandup. It costs 20/- and is worth the price. The paav and vada are bigger in size as compared to other normal vadapav. The red chutney which includes coconut flavour and onion adds up to the taste. The vada is perfect blend of spices and you would definitely enjoy snacking it.

Bhau Vada Pav – A Bhandup Classic

Bhau Vada Pav is easily one of the best spots in Bhandup for vada pav—and that’s not just nostalgia talking. I’ve been eating here since childhood. It used to be just around the corner from my school, and I’d treat myself to a vada pav every now and then. Decades later, not much has changed, and that’s a good thing.

Their vada pav has always been slightly more expensive than other stalls, but it’s worth every rupee. The quality stands out. The vada is large, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. It’s sandwiched in a generously sized pav with their signature red garlic chutney, plus a couple of fried green chilies on the side. Best eaten hot—when the flavors really come alive.

Even today, the quality is exactly how I remember it. That kind of consistency is rare.

They do offer other snacks, but honestly, I’ve never felt the need to try anything beyond the vada pav—it’s that good. The shop is usually crowded, with no seating. You either stand inside and eat or get it packed to go.

If you’re in Bhandup and haven’t had Bhau’s vada pav, you’re missing out....

Disappointing Experience at Bhau Vada Pav I decided to try Bhau Vada Pav in Bhandup West after hearing a lot of hype about it, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations. The vada pav came with coconut chutney and onions, which actually tasted better than the potato filling inside the vada. The overall experience didn't give me the feeling of eating a proper vada pav. At ₹25, I thought the size was decent, but the taste was definitely lacking. I would honestly recommend trying the street stalls instead, as they offer a much better experience. Given the rush and all the hype, I felt this place didn't live up to the reputation. Definitely not worth the visit.
