Such a Pathetic Experience I had today with Hangout Kandivali East Thakur Village outlet.
On My Birthday 28th Nov 2018, My Wife had Ordered Red Magic cake from Swiggy on 27th Nov 10 PM. After placing order, my wife received call in 10 mins from Hangout outlet that Red Magic is destroyed during packing and can we send you Red Velvet. On this my wife agreed as we wanted to cut the cake at 12.
The cake was very bitter and sour in taste, also I had many guests at home and it was very embarrassing for us to give such a stale cake. As it was 12 at night we didn’t do any complaint and we kept cake as it is in Refrigerator. Today Morning we called the outlet and informed about this whole thing. On that they agreed to replace it but wanted the left over of that cake. Due to some misunderstanding our maid thrown that into dustbin. Initially they agreed to take dustbin spoilage and gave us the cake but after sometime they called again and asked for return of that replaced cake. As we already ate some part of that cake we told them that we can’t send the newer cake to you as we already had some of it. Over which the executive very rudely argued and demanded a money for the new cake. This went for sometime and finally I gave them the money for the new cake. This was a very bad experience we had on birthday. First they sent us stale cake at night, second the executive was very rude and we had to pay twice for a single cake and there is no one to take complaint. Please DO NOT ORDER from this outlet. They sale stale cakes at night and they don’t take any...

Read moreI don’t have anything against the hangout cakes. However the Hiranandani estate outlet should be best avoided. The owner of this outlet might want to know that the guy who runs the shop is extremely rude and it’s due to his behavior that I shall not return here. When asked for a pastry he reached out for a pastry that was farthest from him instead of reaching for the cake piece nearest to him. This appeared highly suspicious and I wondered whether he was trying to sell me a piece that was old. I told him to give me the pastry right behind what he was giving. He angrily THREW the pastry back in place. And here is the rub...this is how he behaved with my old mother. This guy was busy talking to a friend on the phone and probably thought that he has the right to misbehave with customers who are women as there was no one else in the store at that time. Male chauvinistic guy. Let me assure you— this is not a guy you want to see and speak to when you are stepping into a cake shop coz u r happy and want to...
