From the moment we walked in, the cracks were obvious. We came eager to try the much-hyped expanded menu — what we got was a masterclass in how to overpromise and underdeliver.
The ramen was a crime against broth: flat, soulless, and tasting suspiciously like it came straight from a cup-noodle packet. The so-called nihari croissant was just odd. A flattened croissant it was. It chewed more like a Malabari parotta than the delicate French pastry it is supposed to be.
The fried pork belly was offputting too. Gone was the silky, melt-in-your-mouth indulgence it’s famous for. Instead, we were served rock-hard, over-fried crouton impersonators. The pizza felt like it belonged at a forgettable roadside stall, with low-grade cheese and zero flavour.
Then came the ambience circus: nearly an hour’s wait, music cranked up to nightclub volume and a dining area (the upstair booths) plunged into darkness midway through our meal - so we had to use our phone torches to see the food. The AC was inexplicably turned off on a hot day, and water was served without ice.
Not exactly a “premium experience”.
Expanding your menu is bold and there was a time I adored the food at Social. Things have changed. Why play at every cuisine and master none? I will not...

This place needs a serious reality check. I’ve never seen such arrogant, lazy, and disrespectful staff, especially towards women. We waited over 40 minutes — no one bothered to take our order, even after repeatedly asking just for water. Basic decency and service? Clearly too much to expect here.
The manager was worse than the staff — instead of resolving the issue, he had the audacity to ask us to leave just so a larger group could be seated. Clearly, money matters more than customers here. If the person in charge behaves like that, it's no surprise the rest of the staff is absolutely shameless, nonchalant, and downright rude.
They act like they’re doing you a favour by letting you sit inside — despite charging premium prices for garbage service and zero professionalism. This is not just bad service — it’s blatant disrespect.
To the owner: If this is how your place runs, you seriously need to step in. Your staff needs training, your manager needs replacing, and your brand needs saving — fast. Or don’t be surprised when people stop showing up altogether.
Save your time, money, and dignity — go literally ANYWHERE...

If you're thinking of going to Socials Wadala — DON’T. Save yourself the frustration. The staff here are outright useless — lazy, arrogant, and completely disinterested, especially when it comes to serving women. We waited 40+ minutes, asked for just water multiple times, and were ignored like we were invisible.
The manager? An absolute clown. Instead of fixing the issue, he was more concerned about kicking us out to seat a bigger group — probably thought he’d earn more off them. Pathetic. No service, no manners, no clue how to run a place.
The vibe? DEAD. The attitude? Like they’re too good to serve you. It’s almost laughable how these people behave like they’re doing you a favour just by letting you sit there. Newsflash: you’re not that special — and certainly not worth what you charge.
Honestly, I’ve had better service at roadside dhabas than this overpriced dump. If this is the standard Socials as a brand is okay with, then shame on the management. Train your people. Fire your manager. Or just shut the place down if you can’t handle basic hospitality.
Final verdict: Trash service, trash attitude, and a complete waste of time and money. Avoid this place...
