During my recent visit to Sea Breeze Kitchen, I had an average experience overall, which led me to rate it 3 stars. While there were some positive aspects, there were also a few areas of improvement that affected my perception of the place.
To begin with, I faced some difficulty in finding the restaurant due to the incorrect directions provided by Google Maps near the entry to the beach. This was a minor inconvenience that could be addressed by improving the accuracy of the location information.
The seating arrangement at Sea Breeze Kitchen was set up in shamiyaanaas, which provided a unique and beach-like atmosphere. However, I found the seating to be somewhat uncomfortable and lacking proper support. It would be beneficial if they could enhance the seating comfort to improve the overall dining experience.
In terms of the food, I found it to be average. While there were some dishes that stood out, the overall quality and taste did not meet my expectations. It would be beneficial for Sea Breeze Kitchen to focus on enhancing the flavor profiles and presentation of their dishes to offer a more memorable culinary experience.
One positive aspect worth mentioning is that Sea Breeze Kitchen allows pets. As a dog owner, I brought my pet dog Tyson along with me, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a pet-friendly establishment. This is certainly a welcoming feature for pet owners who want to dine out with their furry companions.
During my visit, I overheard one of the staff members mentioning that they would close during rains. While this might be a practical decision considering the weather conditions, it could be disappointing for visitors who plan their outings based on the restaurant’s availability. It would be helpful if Sea Breeze Kitchen could provide advance notice or updates regarding such closures to avoid any inconvenience to customers.
Lastly, Sea Breeze Kitchen serves alcohol, which might be appealing to some patrons. However, it’s worth noting that this aspect did not significantly impact my personal experience.
In summary, Sea Breeze Kitchen provided an average experience during my visit. Improving the accuracy of location directions, enhancing the seating comfort, and focusing on elevating the quality and taste of their food would contribute to a more satisfying dining experience. On the positive side, the pet-friendly policy is...
Read moreHello so to begin with the place is really good nice ambience n the owners (i guess) are good to give us a table when we said we have travelled a lot in traffic (almost 4 hrs due to road work goin in gorai) whereas the distance from our place is 1.5 hr) Sea breeze is sooo very busssyyy to answer the calls as they never pick up & the staff my my don't ask excellent staff which provides no service just runs here n there. We asked for loaded nachos bruschetta and corn soup as our starter after 15/20 mins they come n say we don't have anything of these - surprisingly being Sunday and so much crowd they didn't have all these. We ordered aglio olio that also after 15/20 mins the waiter says not there. Yeah one starter they cud manage to get which was veg crispy (literally burnt) and on the table of six people they serve us the plate for four after 15 mins of the starter. Water tissue paper & some basic accompaniments such as schezwan sauce, green chutney or even pickle was not served at all till we asked for..... Finally we ended up ordering our main course everything came after few mins and we reordered dal fry (literally watery) the waiter comes n says can we give u manchurian gravy instead of dal fry 😳😳 God knows why he asked this when we had ordered complete Punjabi food 😞😞 we said no we need dal fry after sometime he comes n says sorry dal fell down making a fresh one again n we all were waiting for dal since 30 mins and rice went cold.... At last we all lost the temper n didn't eat anything but none of the concerned person had a courtesy to say sorry infact they charged us for dal twice and one person (staff - waiter) came n was trying to take away the dal which our table waiter had bought such a shameless person though n was standing there n laughing but the owners didn't come ahead to...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at Sea Breeze Resort, Gorai We visited Sea Breeze Resort in Gorai on May 1st, expecting a relaxing getaway on a holiday. Unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal.
Despite calling ahead to reserve a table due to the beach crowd, we were told it was first-come, first-served. Upon arrival, however, another group claimed a reserved table. While we accepted this, the bigger issue was the service. We were informed of a 30-minute wait for food, which we were okay with. However, after an hour and a half, only fries and one hakka noodles arrived for a group of 10.
The most concerning aspect was the complete lack of communication or management of the large crowd. Despite repeated inquiries, the staff offered no updates on our order or wait time, simply repeating "it will take time due to the crowd." Their dismissive attitude and lack of effort to address the delay were unacceptable.
Disappointed and frustrated, we cancelled our order. It was disheartening to see no hesitation from the staff, maybe the preparation of our food hadn't even been started. Ultimately, we left without a proper meal, wasting precious holiday time.
This experience highlights a severe need for improved service and crowd management at Sea Breeze Resort, especially during peak times. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant based...
