Cafe Zinea & Zinea Restobar — Restaurant in Nagpur

I had a bad experience at Zinea:

I was looking for crispy cheese potatoes and the waiter fooled me with cheesy potato wedges. 😒 There were big potatoes with cheese all over it, moreover the dish was looking stale. So I denied to have it and from then till the time I left the place, that waiter tortured me with le lo ye wedges? Mein kya karu iska? 😒😒 Muje paise dene hoge iske..

He also got his Manager with a receipt saying 200 rupees will be fined to this waiter where that dish costed 160 bucks 😒😒 Height of tricking someone to pay for something they haven't even ordered or rather which is a stale food.

The issue wasn't with the money. I would have paid it, had there been french fries or any other dish that wasn't stale. 😒😒

I have visited restaurants where in if you aren't satisfied with the taste, so either they replace the dish or they cancel it and don't ask the customer to pay. Because as a restaurant, it's your responsibility to serve the customer with fresh and good food.

Being a customer, had the waiter was served with a dish like I had? What he would have done? Had he paid for that dish????? STALE FOOD?????

My point is: the waiter shouldn't have got cheesy potato wedges when he knew I was asking for crispy cheesy potatoes.

I would not have mind to pay but had it been any other fresh dish, I would have accepted it whole heartedly. But he got me a stale looking food, with all wedges being soggy.

Last but not the list, the receipt of 200 where the dish was of 160/-

If you want to see the rudest staff and waiters acting like you owe them money, go to cafe zinea. Managers will be least interested in your comfort. Staff here would be glad if you brought your own food and beverages with you and didn't make them serve you, and of course you will have to pay for the food you brought. Me and my best friends were going to meet after a long time and unfortunately we chose the unwilling-to-serve-you-ZINEA cafe. We were the only customers at 1145 in the morning. No one even asked for water for 25 minutes. Taking our order was the last thing on anyone's mind there. They were busy playing patriotic songs loudly. We had to call the 3 4 times before they took 3 minutes out of their busy work day. We ordered and asked them to turn the music off or lower the volume to which their reply was kinda like ' deshbhakti ke gane kaise kam volume kare ?? ' As if deshbhakti depended on how loudly you play 'rang de basanti'. After 25 more minutes their manager showed up near the music systems and they must have told him about our request, to which his answer was to turn the volume to ..... Maximum. We obviously cancelled our orders and stormed out . On a public holiday, we were the only customers in their cafe and they drove us away. Lastly I would like to recommend cafe Pablo which is some 50 meters away from cafe Zinea. Which has great service, great food and awesome ambiance. They even let you sit for a long time after you are done...

✳️During our recent visit to Nagpur, we friends went here. The cafe/restaurant can be easily located, which on the main road.

✳️Love this place every time I visit it. The staff and service is very good.

✳️Zinea cafe is a good place for every age to parties and hangout with friends and family.

Ambience: ✳️The cafe walls are decorated with innovative cartoons and messages specifically the funky ambiance is good specially for youngsters.

✳️It has both inside and outside seating arrangement. Ample parking space is also available.

✳️They also play music in the background which can make a change in your mood.

✳️I like the food and the drinks here. All varieties of hard drinks viz. beer, whiskey,vodka, cocktail are available here.

✳️My favorite dish here is grilled chicken breast with mashed potatoes.

✳️I had Veg Lasagna which was served Hot and was very delicious.

✳️Try butter beer here which is not exactly a beer but has a fantastic taste.

✳️I also had white sauce pasta with garlic bread, it was one of the best pasta here.

✳️The atmosphere is calm and pleasant.Best thing was the butter beer only few places serves butter beer.
