Pakodewala in Burdi holds a special place in my heart, as it has been my go-to spot for pakodas since childhood. I have fond memories of visiting this old and famous shop with my parents when I was a kid (30 years ago), even though I was more into sweets than snacks back then. Over the years, the shop has undergone some changes, but a few things have remained the same. One thing that has consistently delighted my taste buds is their jalebi. It's always perfectly crispy on the outside and bursting with sweetness on the inside. The nostalgia of enjoying their jalebi brings back cherished memories of my childhood. Besides the jalebi, the moong pakodas and samosas at Pakodewala are also noteworthy. They have a delightful crunch and are filled with flavorful fillings. These snacks have evolved over time, but they still retain their deliciousness. I never forget to drink a glass of masala milk whenever I visit this place. The owner back then had very good relations with customers and even remember my parents and my name. New generation isn't into making relations, but only money and business. While the shop may have undergone some transformations, it's reassuring to know that some of the flavors and experiences from my childhood remain intact at Pakodewala.

Located right in the heart of the bustling busy market of Sitabuldi , this gem is one of the oldest snack shops in the city. Serving lip smacking hot samosa which are super crispy on the outside and a mild delectable potato filling which will reach every taste bud of yours . Samosa eaten with the two chutney one tskrind one khatta meetha and the other curd and chilli mixed together for a perfect combination. They also do other bunch of snacks like moong daal bada , mirchi vada , kachori , bread pakora, sandwiches . They have a separate dessert section where they serve the conventional desserts like rasgulla, gulabjamun etc . My personal favourite is their hot jalebis right out of the Kadhai which was ultimate crispy and juicy and to die for . This is one of thr oldest samosa serving place and brings back my childhood memories as I used to come here and often . If you are around shopping at the market this place is a must visit .

Pakodewala in Nagpur is a delightful spot for anyone craving crispy, savory Indian snacks. This local gem specializes in a variety of pakoras (fritters), each one perfectly golden and bursting with flavor. The menu includes an array of options, from classic onion and potato pakoras to more unique offerings like paneer and vegetable varieties. The crispiness of the batter combined with fresh, high-quality ingredients makes each bite a satisfying experience. The ambiance is casual and unpretentious, making it a great place for a quick snack or casual meal. Service is generally prompt and friendly, and the affordability of the food adds to its charm. Whether you're a local or just passing through Nagpur, Pakodewala is a must-visit for its excellent pakoras and authentic street food vibe.

Tried jalebi and dhokla from पकोडेवाला and I must say — it was an absolute treat!

The jalebi was perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy inside, and had that golden glow with just the right amount of sweetness — not overpowering, just satisfying. Freshly made and still warm, it had that delightful crunch that makes all the difference.

As for the dhokla, it was incredibly soft, spongy, and airy. The tadka (tempering) was spot on — aromatic, flavorful, and complemented with fresh coriander and green chilies. The accompanying chutney added a nice tangy kick.

You can tell they use fresh ingredients and care about the flavor balance. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, this spot delivers comfort food that hits the mark.

Highly recommended for jalebi-dhokla lovers! Perfect for a quick snack or even as a...
