My aunt and uncle (Bua and Fufa ji) renewed their wedding vows at the temple to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful moment as they tied the knot again after 50 years of marriage. I changed the language to make it easier to understand, and also added a bit more context to help explain the significance of the event. Swayambhu ganesh murti. Ganesh Tekdi , Tekdi means hills in Marathi! This Ganesha idol is self-styled. Many years ago, when the construction of the train track was going on, a very ancient Ganesh idol was found by the local laborers due to the dynamind blast on the hills at this Tekdi. At that time the people of Nagpur collected funds to build this temple. People believe that this Ganpati Maharaj fulfills everyone's wishes. Whenever small children are born in someone's house, they are brought here for the first time to have darshan. During the Ganesh festival period, there is a lot of crowd and a fair of devotees is held here. to take a darshan. The great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar whenever come to nagpur To play cricket, first of all he used to come here to see Ganesha. After that he go to the stadium and play cricket. He had a habit.If you ever get a chance to come to Nagpur in life, then definitely come to this Ganesh Tekri and take darshan of Maharaj. I have also made a small vlog of this temple.
