I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ram Bhandar, a popular eatery known for its delicious Uttapam and refreshing Lassi. Located in the heart of the city, Ram Bhandar is a small but bustling restaurant that attracts locals and tourists alike. Here's my review of their Uttapam and Lassi:
Uttapam: The Uttapam at Ram Bhandar is truly exceptional. Served hot and crispy, it is a delectable South Indian dish that is a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. The Uttapam is made from a fermented batter of rice and lentils, and it is topped with a variety of fresh vegetables, such as tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers. The flavors are well-balanced, and the texture is perfect - soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. Each bite bursts with a medley of flavors, and the combination of the tangy tomato chutney and coconut chutney served alongside enhances the taste even further. The portion size is generous, making it a satisfying meal on its own or a perfect dish to share with friends or family. Overall, the Uttapam at Ram Bhandar is a must-try for anyone who appreciates authentic and mouthwatering South Indian cuisine.
Lassi: Ram Bhandar's Lassi is a refreshing and delightful drink that perfectly complements their food. Served in a tall glass, it is a traditional Indian yogurt-based beverage that is known for its creamy and smooth texture. The Lassi at Ram Bhandar is made with fresh yogurt, and you can choose from various flavors such as mango, rose, or the classic plain. I opted for the mango lassi, and it was absolutely heavenly. The sweetness of the ripe mangoes blended harmoniously with the creamy yogurt, creating a balanced and delightful drink. The lassi was not overly sweet, which allowed the natural flavors of the mango to shine through. It was the perfect drink to cool down and quench my thirst after enjoying the flavorsome Uttapam. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian beverages or looking to try something new, Ram Bhandar's Lassi is a delightful choice.
Service and Atmosphere: The service at Ram Bhandar was friendly and efficient. The staff members were attentive, and they ensured that all our needs were met promptly. Despite the restaurant's popularity, the waiting time was reasonable, and we were seated comfortably. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with a bustling crowd and the aromas of delicious food wafting through the air. The restaurant's interior was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining experience.
In conclusion, Ram Bhandar Uttapam and Lassi are an absolute treat for the taste buds. The Uttapam is a mouthwatering delight, with its perfect balance of flavors and textures, while the Lassi is a refreshing and satisfying drink. The friendly service and vibrant atmosphere further enhance the dining experience. If you're in search of authentic South Indian cuisine in a warm and inviting setting, Ram Bhandar is the...
Read moreRam Bhandar The famous restaurant since my childhood my mother tolds me that the sweets and the lassi of Ram Bhandar is to that no one can compete with them at that time now also it is the best restaurant of Nagpur. I always have a glass of lassi when I have time and I'm at Mahal. They have recently opened another Restaurant at Pratap Nagar.
This was my past experience.
But recently when I recently visited the restaurant my past experience got vanished. The current staff is too arrogant, do not serve properly, misguided the menu to us & after receiving the order when I raised the concern that the item is not as per they guided us, so they started raising voice & arguing with us. The owner is also too much arrogant & too much arguing. We literally waited nearly 45 mins but did not received the order. Also the staff was not serving us properly, do not setup the table with cutlery, each & every thing glass, spoons, plates, fork everything we asked them to bring but there also they delay too much & ignored.
Current Ram Bhandar is not the because of which it got popular, everything is worst viz. Owner, staff, food, ambience. Food quality is deteriorated too much.
This was my current recent experience. One should take this in note...
Read moreI'm live nearby this restaurant and coming here from past 10+years and this review I'm adding on the basis of my past 8 years visits Starting from Ram Bhandar to Radha Krishna !
If you are planning to come here to spend time then it's fine because the service is ALWAYS LATE HERE....(lol)
Lassi was the attraction source on Ram Bhandar grown to Radha Krishna ! But the Lassi Quality you will find nowadays very very dilute.
Let's talk about the Quantity and Quality of food at Radha Krishna : Honestly I would like to tell that the quality has been decreased of South Indian and Indian Fast food e.g. dahi samosa, chola batura and Pav Bhaji is very poor. Talking about the Quantity the price which u pay for the food doesn't make any justice with the quantity. I feelt hungry many times even after eating food like Chinese, South Indian and Western food also like Pizza, Burger, sandwiches (are worst)
DON'T PAY VISIT HERE ! DON'T WASTE MONEY AND TIME !
The only thing you will find good here is ambience and environment here.
If u are in this area then go for this Restaurant : HaldiRams and Ghate which will serve u the best and better quality food then Ram Bhandar and...
