I don’t know why I’ve always heard a lot about this place in Nagpur than any other South Indian restaurant but my experience regarding this particular restaurant was not as per what I’ve expected. Actually me and my friend we’ve been planning to visit this particular restaurant after the lockdown gets lifted up and we wanted to experience it on our own about the food as we’ve heard a lot of people talking about it. My friend is a die hard South Indian food lover and all he enjoys eating is Idli’s and Dosa’s. Now we finally went to this restaurant and everything seemed to going so perfect until we started to have eat our food. Undoubtedly, the ambience of the restaurant is really good. The AC was working fine and the temperature was also normal. The staff were good informative. Sanitisation was also being maintained. But the most curiosity of having the food disappointed us to the core. The Idli’s were good. But the condiments given with it were so bland. The quantity of the chutneys in the first shot was very less. I had two spoons of my favourite Nariyal chutney and I was done and had to wait for the server to serve more. We went for Dosa and again it was disappointing. My friend literally said that the idli he eats at a roadside stall by his college serves tastier idlis than this expensive restaurant ones. I don’t know everything else was really good no doubt but when it comes to the food we were kinda not happy about it. I’m not criticising but for real. Sometimes it's not just about the food, but also about the experience. You could discover Dosa with the same taste and for less money at roadside food vendors.

Ever since a friend recommended their Karam Podi Masala Dosa, it has held a special place in my heart, and each visit to this establishment has been a pleasurable experience. The crispy dosa is generously filled with a flavourful and aromatic masala, complemented by the perfect balance of spices. The Karam Podi adds an additional layer of complexity and a slight kick of heat, elevating the taste to new heights.

However, during my most recent visit, I encountered a slight disappointment with the mango lassi. When I tasted it, I detected an odd or stale flavor. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, they did not offer a replacement. It seems that the lassi is pre-made and stored in bottles, which could potentially have been in the fridge for extended periods. Considering this, I would advise avoiding the lassi altogether to ensure keep your taste and mood on track.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Uttar Dakshin by Naivedyam, located in Trimurti Nagar. I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful and left me feeling completely satisfied.

The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.

The food, however, was the real star of the show. Uttarr Dakshin by Naivedyam serves a wide range of North Indian and South Indian dishes, and every dish I tried was simply delicious. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was beautiful.
