Hotel Vihar on Gangapur Road in Nashik offers comfortable and conveniently located accommodation. During my visit, the Misal Pav was a satisfyingly spicy local snack, the Lassi was a refreshing and well-made beverage, and the Mendu Vada was a decent savory bite. While not a gourmet destination, the in-house food options provide a convenient taste of local flavors, complementing the hotel's overall practicality and accessible location for travelers. Read moreVihar is a well-known place for its Misal, which is served with dahi and papad and has a great taste. However, the price of Misal has gone up over the years and the size of papad has decreased. Initially, the price was 50, then it was 70, and now it costs 90, which is not worth the quality and quantity of Misal and other items served. Extra pav which was charged 5 Rs earlier is now for 10 rs/per. The service is good, but the place is slightly less hygienic.
Apart from Misal, their South Indian food on the menu is also worth trying and delicious. Overall, if you're looking for a great ambience and atmosphere, this might not be the right option for you. However, if you're all about the taste and food, then Vihar...
Read moreHad heard a lot about Misal joints in Nashik and hence decided to visit Hotel Vihar as it was nearby to the place I was put up.
This place is very much on a main road with sufficient parking space. Has a separate section for families however after entering the restaurant we were welcomed with a strong smell of phenol, which is ideally not used even in restrooms now a days.

Pav served was fresh and good however they messed up by heating it using Dalda ....A cheap substitute for butter.
Frankly speaking, good to have once but nothing great as expressed in some of...
