The experience of eating at Mantra terminated on a very bad note Bill produced was including items which we did not consume The liquor consumed by some other persons of approximately Rs 1169 was added to our bill When the issue was brought to the notice, they started shouting on us as that it happens some times without having an iota of acceptance of mistake at their end The staff was initially so rude that they was trying to prove that the fault was ours but later it took me another 10 Minutes and lot of convincing to other staff personals to change the bill They were making me pay Rs 4126 against the correct bill amount of Rs 2899 They were saying it has happened by mistake but the fact was that they bill was of few people who were working in few reputed hotels in the city and they seemed to be known to the staff serving the food at this restaurant. It was an attempt to adjust their liquor bill in our bill and when they got caught, they were furious I hope that the restaurant authorities look into the matter as I plan to launch an official complaint as I am having both the correct and inflated incorrect bill with me Very bad experience A lesson that even in reputed restaurants u need to check the bill A place not at all recommended to be visited again Poooooooor management Worst experience I haved...

It is really sad when things like this happens. One night, me and my guy friend decided to meet, and we settled on this place. My friend wasn't having a good day, so all my attention was on him. As soon as we entered, the person responsible said that we can't go in. The place was absolutely empty and it was a Wednesday night. It would be understandable if it was it was a Saturday night or if it had a couples entry only scheme. But sadly it wasn't. After conversing with the guy in english, he said, "okay, but sit in that corner, so no one can see you." (Something on that lines, as I don't remember the exact quotes.) I was focused on my friend and didn't realize what just happened. I am never going back to that place, the staff was rude to us throughout, and just wanted us to leave. We did manage to have a decent enough conversation but the staff tried everything to show us that we didn't belong there, just because we didn't look rich or flashy enough.
