One Star - Avoid at All Costs
Marco's Bistro - Downtown Location Visited: today 8:30 PM
• Disgusting atmosphere - The restaurant reeked of stale grease and wet cardboard, with lighting so dim I needed my phone's flashlight to read the menu. Sticky floors, wobbly tables, and dirty surfaces made the whole place feel like a health code violation waiting to happen.
• Terrible service - Our server ignored us for 15 minutes despite the restaurant being nearly empty, brought us the wrong drinks, then argued about our order. The water glasses looked like they hadn't been properly washed in years, and the staff seemed annoyed that we had the audacity to actually show up.
• Inedible food - The Caesar salad was wilted and brown, drowning in what tasted like mayonnaise mixed with anchovy paste. My partner's "grilled" chicken was clearly microwaved and still cold in the center, while my seafood pasta featured canned mussels in watery sauce and overcooked pasta with the consistency of baby food.
• Horrible management response - When we politely mentioned the food was inedible, our server rolled her eyes and said "this is how we make it here." The manager was more interested in defending their kitchen than addressing our legitimate concerns about food quality and safety.
• Outrageous pricing for garbage - They charged us $73 for two people for food we couldn't eat and had to leave untouched. We ended up going to McDonald's next door for actual edible food. This place is highway robbery masquerading as a restaurant.
Rating: 1/5 stars - Save your money and your stomach. Gas station hot dogs would be a more satisfying...
Read moreI was here last night for dinner with family. When we arrived we reserved ourselves a table (or that was what we were lead to believe). We were requested to wait for five minutes(usual times)
However even before the time was up another family arrived after us waited for few mins and we’re just let in.
Upon enquiring we were told that they forgot that we had reserved a table.
About fifteen minutes later almost on the verge of cancelling out the restaurant we were asked to place an order so that when we would get a seat the food would be ready.
Post our seating and pre ordering we waited for more than 45 minutes for the food to arrive. And the food was so amazing that I never want to visit this restaurant again. To add to it the restaurant's service was an absolute disaster.
For all the Social Media influencers who blindly promote this place I believe it is your duty to atleast verify their services before actually posting their reviews as a lot of the common public relies on them.
The staff was not bothered and non-attentive, showing a total disregard for basic customer service. My family rebuked me for making them feel like an inconvenience rather than guests.
Rice ( Lebanese Thaal ) was totally insipid. I literally had to convince myself that I wasn’t having regular boiled rice without salt.
Staff were too arrogant and didn’t seem to respond when you call them.
It was a harrowing experience. The service was slow, the food lacked flavor, and the overall atmosphere was subpar.
I wouldn’t suggest this...
Read moreThis was one of the best restaurants I had been in my life...But now it has lost its best way to serving customers... We used to visit this place almost 4 times in a month...The staff used to be very polite, gentle, the area used to be clean and hygiene was to be appreciated.... But now, since they have lot of guests and after the renovation of the restaurant, the place looks very dull, congested, old and dirty all the time we have been with family and other guests... We had waiting period of 30mins and 30mins after sitting down...they cutlery was very shabby and oily...next table guest were waiting for a spoon for almost 20mins... don't know why it took so long for a spoon... And the sofas were too old that my bum sunk into it and the back portion was broken or so, because I was getting disturbed when the behind person was resting on it....very uncomfortable way to eat food and the worst was cockroaches on the wall and ants on the table... And so we decided now that we don't want to sit and eat inside this restaurant, infact we'll take parcel and will enjoy the food in our own home sweet home...
Arabian Chillies you can just do some changes in sitting arrangements and a proper pest control or you can change the staff who cleans...you can be the best again...also one good advice-please don't ask the guy to make lemonade who touches the mop to clean the floor... that's...
