The Food Foundry — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

Visited this newly opened restaurant in Koparkhairne. Just the perfect place to be in night! Located exactly opposite of ~Koparkhairne railway station.

Starting from the entrance, it has its own lighted path to make every customer get the positive or the special vibes. The restaurant had some ravishing ambience. Walls had a Beautiful Graffiti and wonderful designed plates affixed to the walls everywhere.

The service was amazing and quick, The staff was quite humble and very kind to talk.

An alcoholic can get a large variant of drinks and the perfect environment to drink.

Coming to the drinks, we had :

1. San Francisco : The unique fusion between a thick shake and a milkshake. Beautifully prepared mocktail.
2. Guava Spice : An amazing strong and sweet taste blends of guava & slit chilli.

In Starters, we ordered :

1. Hummus Bowl : All time regular dish which most of the people eat. Just perfectly balanced taste of the olive oil in the hummus.
2. Peri Peri Masala Peanut : The one thing I admired the most is this one. Something different, Perfect peri peri taste, and unique combo. Must try this if you want a Veg Starter.
3. Vietnamese Grilled Chicken : It may be referred to Charcoal Grilled Chicken Tikka. It had amazingly Juicy, tender chicken which has a more vibrant taste than the normal Chicken Tikka. Served along with Salad.
4. Creamy Butter Garlic Prawns : Highly richly prepared white Tiger Prawns been tossed in creamy garlic sauce and been decorated amazingly in the Plate with a Garlic Bread.

Coming to Mains :

1. Chicken Biryani : Biryani doesnt require any special occasion. Once a Biryani lover, always a biryani lover.
2. Cookerwala Kukkad : chicken masala gravy served in a baby cooker, quite a moderate taste which made me forgot my glass of water.

Atlast, BlueBerry Cheese Cake & Tiramisu in desserts made a perfect ending...

It's a precious Hidden Gem shall be explored often whenever one feels the good food cravings or want to celebrate or a family/ friends get together, best place for a post meeting corporate dinner, if you want to treat your colleagues which they will forever remember then this is the right & best choice, it's one of the best restaurant in Navi Mumbai, delicious mouth watering finger licking food prepared authentically & having it's own different aroma & taste, it's very expensive & i will always pass with a desire to eat there but i had a prepaid voucher thanks to Magic Pin & i dared to step in to dine, staff is prompt in replies, quick while serving & are very polite always, cleanliness is upto the mark, Two big Tv screens keep you occupied if alone or partner is boring, me & my wife were often giggling by looking at the pretty garnishing & cute vessels the dishes were in bcos it was kind of out of the blue experience whenever orders of other tables passed us & yes it was a eye feast too along with smell buds which enjoyed the sweet aroma, the more i write the less it seems even though I don't have words to write while describing my mind blowing mesmerizing memories of Food Foundry which is true to its name as they carve magic in kitchen & it will be very difficult to enjoy food someplace else bcos i know where God of Food cooks for Food addicts, Love you food foundry for treating so well, will definitely visit again with family relatives and friends and will do recommend to all i know that don't miss a must visit food joint, it's my second visit here to dine & often order home...

The place had a nice ambience but because of the crowd, we couldn't enjoy that. The service was terrible. The only table which was empty was extremely dirty, even after a waiter came and cleaned it up. It took them 10+ minutes to give us menus, and we were waiting for more than 40 minutes for our first dish (though it was most probably because of the larger number of people.). The cigar rolls were very good, but the masala papad was very bland. I had ordered a vanilla shake but they gave me a chocolate shake instead and the chocolate shake already took more than 50 minutes to come. Then came the pizza we ordered. It was extremely horrible. The crust was extremely thick, the entire pizza was as cold as if it was just now taken out of the freezer and when I held up the pizza slice, a lotttt of oil started to drop out of it. The pizza was extremely stale, as though it was made 2 days ago, microwaved and served to me. They did give me the vanilla shake and a new pizza which was way better then the old one but still was not more than 3/5 stars. I ordered a cold drink and it took them 15 minutes to give that cold drink. Overall, my experience was horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
