Went expecting amazing flavour but that was not to be... Guess expected too much. Ordered pan fried noodles that was good but from thereon almost all of the food ordered was below average. The hunan soup was liked by my husband and daughter but I found it to be with pungent chilli flavour. It was a pass for me. Then it was Peking rice, rice laced with soy sauce... That's what it tasted. The chicken starter was good but the oriental pot rice was a complete disaster.. the rice, gravy didn't have any connection. It was just something mixed together... even the smell that emanated from the food even before serving was a total turn off. When I pointed out the issues with the food the person attending was least interested and went about with just completing the orders. When I said the oriental pot rice was not good, he laid the blame on my choice of protein - prawns ... supposedly the dish doesn't taste good with prawns ( which btw was chopped into fine pieces making me literally search for it ). Overall, it's better not...

Had a time crunch and could only order the chicken bao and the 'Umami special chicken' as appetizers and damn were they fantastic.
Chicken bao (in Sichuan sauce) The bao buns were so so so soft and airily light, and the minced chicken in the Sichuan sauce was just delicious. Took the photo after hogging one lol. It was mild with just a hint of spice but oh, so flavourful. I gobbled them up at lightening speed!
Umami Special Chicken This had small chicken filets fried and coated in a yummy sweet and tangy garlic laden sauce, and I slurped down every last bit of that sauce on the serving dish - it was that good! Couldn't take a photo because we couldn't stop eating.
This is definitely going to be a spot I frequent, it has to be one of the best places to eat...

We started off with Honey Chilly Potato and Chicken tossed in BBQ Sauce, both of which were excellent. For main course, we tried Chicken Burnt Garlic rice along with Thai Curry and I kid you not, this was the most lip smacking combo I have ever tried. Simply delicious!
Since we were not full yet, we asked them for their recommendations and they came back with Nasi Goreng rice. I was sceptical to try this at first because I have found it to be too fishy for my taste, owing to the Shrimp paste that is conventionally added to it. Gracefully, theirs tasted excellent and I’m glad I tried it.
All in all a great experience. I will be back to try the rest...
