Tried Ambur Biryani here in Navi Mumbai and honestly, I was disappointed. The rice looked good at first, but the taste just wasn’t there. It was bland, with barely any aroma or spice, and the chicken pieces were dry and overcooked. For something called “Ambur Biryani,” I expected that signature South Indian flavor, but it felt like plain rice with a bit of masala mixed in. The portion size was okay, but the price didn’t feel justified for the quality. The raita was watery, and the salan tasted like it came straight out of a packet. Service was slow, even though there weren’t many customers, and they didn’t bother checking if we needed anything after serving the food. Ambience-wise, it’s just an average setup—not dirty, but nothing inviting either. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for authentic biryani. There are way better options nearby for the same price or less. Definitely not worth a repeat visit.

One of the most authentic and brilliant regional biryani I have had in a while They make a special Tamil Nadu biryani with baigan curry on the side which was insanely unique and so new that I genuinely had my doubts but to my surprise it went beautifully with each other. The owners took their time to explain about the grain of rice they used and took time to get to know their guests My only suggestion would be to ask them to get a better and a bigger place But a must visit

The biryani at Ambur Biryani Hotel is absolutely delicious! The flavors are rich and authentic, and they even give extra rice if you want more. The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get value for your money. After the biryani, they serve a sweet dish, which is a lovely surprise and makes the experience even better. The owner is very warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Highly recommend it for anyone craving great taste, quality, and quantity!

I recently revisited Ambur Biryani in Seawoods, and once again, it did not disappoint! This spot may have a limited menu, but they make up for it with freshly cooked, authentic Tamil Nadu-style biryanis that are truly pocket-friendly.🍚🍛

My personal favorite is the 🧆Mutton Biryani – the meat is tender, perfectly spiced, and the rice is aromatic, just the way it should be. The balance of 🌶️flavors in each bite is impressive, and you can tell the care that goes into preparing it. They also offer sweet items that complement the meal beautifully.

If you’re looking for a place with great biryani that won’t break the bank, Ambur Biryani in Seawoods is a...

Absolutely amazing experience at Ambur Biryani Restaurant, Nerul! I had the mutton biryani along with chicken 65, and the taste instantly reminded me of home — just like having biryani in Tamil Nadu. The flavors were authentic, the mutton was tender, and the spices were spot on 🔥. Chicken 65 was crispy, juicy, and perfectly spiced too.

The hospitality was next level — they even offered me extra food and asked if I wanted more. Such generous and kind service, you don’t find that everywhere. 🙌

If you’re craving proper Tamil-style biryani with great taste and top quality, this is the place to go in Navi Mumbai. I’ll definitely be...
