My Enchanting Maiden Voyage to MardiGras by Uncover: A Goan Escape in Delhi's Heart
As the sun descended towards the horizon, bathing the cityscape in a golden hue, I was captivated by the lively atmosphere of MardiGras, a Day and Night Club by Uncover, located in Sector 9, Dwarka, Delhi. It was my maiden visit to this enchanting oasis, and from the moment I stepped through its doors, I was transported to a world of bohemian charm and tropical allure.
MardiGras Delhi is not just another watering hole in the city; it's a sanctuary for those seeking a taste of Goa right in the heart of Delhi. Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of Dwarka, this hidden gem boasts an ambiance that effortlessly blends beachy vibes with urban chic. From its quaint cabanas to the mesmerizing 3D wall paintings and watery backdrops, every corner of Mardigras is a feast for the senses.
One of the first things that caught my attention was the unique presentation of their handcrafted cocktails. From classic mojitos to innovative concoctions, each drink was a work of art in itself. Paired with their mouth watering pizzas, the combination was simply irresistible. But it wasn't just about the drinks and food; it was the overall experience that left me spellbound.
The live DJ sets added a pulsating rhythm to the air, drawing everyone to the dance floor. As I swayed to the music, surrounded by the laughter and chatter of fellow revelers, I couldn't help but feel a sense of liberation wash over me. It was as if time stood still, and all that mattered was the here and now.
Perhaps what impressed me the most was the attention to detail in every aspect of MardiGras. From the meticulously curated menu featuring North Indian, European, and Italian delights to the warm hospitality of the staff, everything was designed to ensure a memorable experience for guests.
As the evening unfolded, I found myself indulging in their delectable kebabs and platters, each bite bursting with flavor. And as the night sky filled with a tapestry of stars, I realized that MardiGras was not just a place; it was a feelingâa feeling of joy, of freedom, of being alive.
With a cost for two around âš2000, MardiGras offers an affordable yet luxurious escape from the mundane. Whether you're looking for a romantic date spot or simply craving a taste of Goa in Delhi, this Insta-worthy haven is sure to delight your senses.
For those seeking the ultimate MardiGras experience, I highly recommend visiting around sunset. There's something truly magical about capturing those golden hour moments against the backdrop of this tropical paradise.
In conclusion, my maiden voyage to MardiGras by Uncover was nothing short of enchanting. From its Bohemian interiors to its irresistible cocktails and delectable cuisine, every moment spent here felt like a celebration of life itself. I had visited Uncover cafe sec-14, Dwarka when it had opened years back. Since then I have been a regular visitor. Now when Mardi Gras by Uncover was in furnishing process, I was excited to visit with my friends as we had been planning and keeping an eye as to when it will get operational. I am very much disappointed to say that our group was denied entry for a vague reason of wearing slippers. Don't people dine in at places wearing slippers? Mari Gras staff stated a reason that a status has to be maintained inside the premises for which we had informed that we are regular customers of Uncover sec14 and had never experienced like this. I don't see a point of judging customers on the basis of their outfit. Are customers expected to visit fully dressed in formals? Then only Mardi Gras will allow them to dine in? I am ashamed. All my friends who had been keeping an eye on Mari Gras furnishing from sept-oct to check it's opening are now hurt deeply from the behaviour of the staff at the entry and their remarks for wearing slippers. We were dressed decently normally in a casual shirt and jean but only slippers were what lead to this pathetic experience.
Customers are God!!! When people go to temple in slippers God never denies their wishes. Mardi Gras has shown the cheap mentality of judging us and denying entry. We shall never plan our get together now. I'm afraid if this policy is...
Read moreA nice lounge bar by uncover with both inside and outside seating. Weekends has live music else itâs DJ. Open till 12 am midnight nd weekends around 1 am. Live music is in the outside seating area. We sat inside. Ordered for coffee flat white and cold coffee. Flat white hot coffee was decent. Cold coffee they make using powder but we requested to use beans instead. Initially they refused nd said it also that would cost additionally but then the manager gave a go ahead. Had a veggie pizza but the base was too stretchy and chewy. Seemed a bit uncooked too. They donât accept feedback easily. After much debate they understood and changed the pizza. Then we had a four cheese pizza. Rs 600 for this pizza. Though it was cooked better but taste was very average. No taste of cheese and it was used barely. Slow service and for everything you need to keep requesting. There were mosquitoes and we asked 4 times to do something about it. 5th time we got a coil. Quite uncomfortable it was. Then the pizza is served on some tall serving tray which is very inconvenient especially when you are sitting on a tall table. We had to request multiple times for some olive oil. Raspberry lemonade was ok. Overall Itâs expensive but the service quality & food taste donât match with the prices. They are offering 20% discount on Swiggy Dineout under girf. Found a lil rigid and not open to feedback. DJ...
