Jungle View — Restaurant in Odisha

So having heard so much about this place, I decided to visit it and give it a try. So I went on a weekend with my family and the place was really crowded. So while my son and wife were exploring the place , I managed to get a table for myself. I called for a hotel staff 3 times to get the order to which noone complied , howeverf I had hordes of hotel staff constantly asking me if I was alone, to which I replied that my family is here and my son is exploring the area so you can take my order in the meanwhile. So in between I heard a hotel staff shouting at some one else as to HOW WAS I SITTING ALONE ON A TABLE . While all this was happening I have asked multiple hotel staff to take my order to which noone complied. They were busy asking me if I was alone and indirectly telling me to leave the seat for others. So this behavior of the hotel enraged me and when I raised my voice , One of the hotel staff came out to ask what the issue was, so when I told them what has transpired...he looked up and said that I CANT HOLD A TABLE ONLY TO MYSLF WHEN THERE IS SO MUCH OF CROWD IN THE RESTAURANT. When I categorically told that I have been asking to take my order, from.the very beginning and how the hotel staff was busy trying to get me out he smirked and told me that the hotel is crowded and it will take them time to get orders!! Lolz.So i asked him what should I do ,LEAVE OR STAY..To which he retorted that I am free to go. I left with my family. This entire episode left me shocked and honestly appalled..with the behaviour of the staff. I don't know about others..but I am definitely never going here and neither am I suggesting anyone to go. I have seen this issue in several places of odisha..that whenever any organization or restaurant gains popularity , they owners and stakeholders start taking their customers who are the backbone of their business for granted. Places like this are not doing charity, they are charging you for their services and somehow I got the impression that they are doing me a favour by allowing me access to the restaurant and allowing me to dine. We were hungry while returning from Khurdha to Cuttack today . It's time for lunch. Some of our family members suggested going here. With high expectations and out of box curiosity, we all stepped into the famous Jungle View restaurant. The first feel of view just going inside was not so appealing. Due to Sunday it was crowded. Searched for a good room to sit with my family, but all rooms are packed. Got a seat outside. It was good. While searching for the AC rooms to dine in, I discovered the rooms are full of bad smell which was suffocating. Ordered masala papad first. It was horrible. Such famous restaurant served this kind of low grade masala papad. Disappointed.☹️ Now ordered for main course bamboo chicken, steam rice, dal fry. In veg, with suggestions from the table boy, ordered veg fried rice and paneer tikka masala. The veg fried rice was good but the paneer with the capcicum and onion were damn. It was like old one.(Basi Maal). The boy changed to Kadai paneer . And believe me it was again horrible. I don't know it was paneer cubes or some other duplicate thing. It was like rubber and plastic material. Very very old paneer cubes were used and those are not also the paneer. My all happiness to have food here was melted . I was thinking is this the same restaurant I heard a lot from people. DISGUSTING. The non veg dishes were good. As I was hungry, so I finished with veg fried rice and raita. I asked the billing person to exclude the duplicate material (so called paneer) dish from the bill, but they started arguing. There was no manager to handle this. No hospitality. They are having very limited with finger tip count dishes served here. But they don't maintain the quality of all the dishes. Not so appealing ambience. Bad quality of food. Very bad behaviour of staffs ( except the table boy) Damn dirty toilets. Obsessed with the fame . Not into customer satisfaction.

Guys we visited Jungle view restaurant yesterday. One of the worst experience in my life. Ordered their famous Bamboo chicken biriyani. Quantity wise it was good for 2 people but when it comes to taste and price it was not worth it at all. The biriyani was taste less no aroma, no smell of biriyani at all. The biriyani simply cooked in normally which they put in bamboo and served it. Taste was below average and when we consider the price as well which was near 350/360 I guess it was the worst biriyani i have ever eaten so wanna give just 2/10. 2 only because of the quantity Ordered chicken mughlai the worst mughlai chicken I must say quantity wise it looked really well at 270. But while considering the taste it was worst. No flavor at all only the dominating egg flavor was there no taste at all wanna give 2/10. 270 for that taste not a good option at all. Only the naan was good which was as usual restaurant taste. The Waiter's behavior was really polite. I must appreciate that. That place was over crowded and really hiped not worth it at all. Not gonna come there again. 1200 rupees completely wasted😔😩😩😩 Suggestions- kindly improve your food quality because prices are really high and customers don't need that worst experience with this price range. Really disappointed with the service. Overall rating 1/5. I have given 1 only because of the waiter's politely behavior.

Any viewers if reading this wanna tell you don't visit that place you can simply visit the zoo and come to Patia chowk there are many good restaurants which serve better foods with much lesser price range.
