Ambiance - Low light in the evening, less light on the outside area. Perfect light settings i can say.
Music - Currently the music flows in the Retro direction but i would recommend them to play a lot of JAZZ and BOSSANOVA as by looking at the interior, decor and the menu, this place will kill it with some smooth, mellow jazz and some brazil bossanova music in the background.
Food - Had the opportunity to relish on some lovely cooked items by the chefs.
From the Keg's Health Section we had... Parmesan Broth Veg - Liquid in a cup with lovely mellow taste of Parmesan and Julian of red yellow green bell peppers inside served with garlic bread. A great beginning I can say.
Tender Coconut Salad with Coconut Water - I never expected tender coconut (coconut malai) to be a part of the salad. It tasted very different from the regular salads and was quite light. Other ingredients in the salads were lettuce, black olives, cherry tomatoes and a glass of fresh coconut water.
Sprout Salad - The distinct taste of sprout which i love was enhanced with raisins in the salad. One of the best salad i had. Again the balance of raisins, olives, lettuce sprouts, bell peppers and vinaigrette was made just perfect.
Guntur Cheeese Chilli Fries - OMG, this dish was so well made, that it got over in seconds. Need i say more? Just order this dish and enjoy every bite of those lovely flavoured fries.
Egg Florentine - The base of the dish was flat bread. Cooked with creamy spinach and mushroom. Added cheddar and 2 poached eggs on top. WOW! My personal fav dish of the evening.
3 Mushroom Feta Pizza - Never had feta on a pizza before. It tasted amazing. The extra flavor was added with these 3 lovely mushrooms. Shitake, Wild and Porcini took it all man. Some brown onions to throw in the caramel effect on the pizza. Superb.
Vegetable Market - Yes, this pizza had exactly what every house fridge has. Zucchini, mix peppers, olives, sun dried tomatoes, Jalapenos, Corn and Mushrooms. Thin crust pizzas are my fav and this one nailed it.
Beer Battered Onion Rings - A basic prep of all the ingredients to the perfection.
Mushroom Cheese Melt - Spicy i mean really spicy bourbon bbq sauce with wild mushroom thick gravy preparation stuffed inside the panini. Brown onions were thrown inside to balance the spice. Served with grated carrots and sauteed potatoes at the side. Again a lovely dish.
Chicken Broccoli Mushroom Salad - Very fresh and light. Perfectly cooked. Liquids:
Berry Berry Slush - A raspberry drink with bubbles and ss mix spices.
Twinkled Adam - Green Apple Syrup, ss mix and sparkles. Wow. Loved this one.
Twinkled Lemony Sangria - Something new which i tried and loved. It has the red sangria syrup, the ss mix and sparkles.
Lemongrass Cooler - Perfect drink. A very well made mix of all.
Cinnamon Chai Latte - A basic latte spiked with cinnamon flavor and whipped cream.
Freaky Ferraro Shake - This mother fudging loaded shake is pure diabettus :D yes, this lovely shake had rocher balls inside with chocolate sauce, ice cream and marshmallows. So many bass heavy contents is a perfect ending to the session. Share 1 with 2 more if you eat moderate amount of chocolate. And have the whole if you are a chocolate monster.
Desserts: We had all of them. Yes, you read that right.
Tiramisu and Philli Cheese chake are the ones to order.
The cocolate lava cake was quite alright. Served with vanilla ice cream.
Dual Chocolate Mousse...

Apart from it what matters really the most is a great partner for the meal and an astonishing venue too....now thats how you have a great start to a day.....well finding a place that serves good breakfast is not a difficult task....and we found a place that not just serves good but highly pleasing eats. 'Kettle and Keg', an all day breakfast house are recreating some of the most delectable dishes all with warmth, tenderness and perfection. Getting to the things we tried
Kettle and Keg- We were searching for a dining option around Khar and Kettle and Keg took our attention due to its great looking menu and good reviews. So, we decided to go here for dinner. Its located in quiet 14th lane of khar and we were welcomed by their smiling staff. We chose to sit in inside section. The interiors are done nicely with lights made using ropes and wine bottles. The bar background has paintings inspired with wine making process. They also had a breads/dessert display counter. Overall the ambiance has a great relaxing vibe. As I was craving for something hot to drink, and hot chocolate being favourite, decided to go ahead with that. The way it was presented just took away all the tiredness I had. It had a very cute teddy art done on the milk foam which I was not at all feeling like disturbing đ When it comes to the taste of the hot chocolate it was good, not overly sweet and warm. But it was having thin consistency more like hot cocoa and not hot chocolate. From food section, the description of their Kegâs special signature misal pav caught our eyes so we ordered that first. And it totally lived up to the expectations. What a burst of flavours!! It was misal with a twist! Basically, it was something like a sabudana tikki served with awesomely tasty broth/gravy and it was topped with potato salli. It was accompanied by a pav which was flavoured with chilli flakes/herbs and butter. We only wished there was one more piece of bread served along. The gravy had bits of peanuts and it gave great texture to the dish. We loved the total effect of the dish. Looking at the menu, we decided to try something from pizza section next. We wanted to have something different so we went for Genovese pizza which had basil pesto base instead of the regular tomato one. It was topped with olives, caramelized onions and right about of Bocconcini which is type of cheese. The crust was great. Caramelized onions had great flavor and the basil gave the pizza a great strong taste. As we were not yet full, we ordered Mac n cheese. Due to the first two dishes our expectations had become high. This dish totally lived up the expectations we must say! The macaroni was cooked perfectly, al dente. It had totally correct balance of flavours, salt and it was cheesy creamy just the way it should be. Overall, we totally loved the food here and we would surely like to come back to try more dishes and their desserts which we did not try this time. Price wise its bit on higher side but the taste kind of covers for it. Giving 0.5 less due to hot chocolate otherwise food was perfect without any flaws. Honest report Card: Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service:...
