Quite famous and crowded during lunch hours because of working professionals, coming to food i have visited 3-4 times, dishes like chicken biriyani, chicken tikka and mushroom starters are good but it depends on ur luck if u get good food or not as they aren't consistent and the service is bad too, sometimes they deliver u nonveg while u order veg, sometimes they completely forgot to bring the dish and later charge for the unserved dish when they bring the bill and the owner doesn't care for any of these things and lastly the only restaurant i guess in the town that bring the starters and main course all at the same time, like no proper order or anything unlike other restaurants rather just bring all the items in one go, literally wierd and mis-management. In my opinion go there if u have plenty of time as they take too much time to prepare food or rather just eat chicken biriyani which is the only dish that's been consistent and worth trying and they serve it...
Read moreWell organised. A fine example of a specific kind of restaurant. It can be delicious food with excellent service. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to youngsters and adults alike. I had smoked salmon with horseradish cream, as well as prawns and lime vinaigrette. My friend tried the triple cheese and tarragon-stuffed mushrooms. They were all exquisite. The main course included a fantastic veggie shepherd’s pie with sweet potato mash and creamy courgette lasagne. In contrast, however, the service was not of the highest quality. It seemed to me that the waiters were not very engaged or interested in their jobs. But the owner seemed very warm and thoughtful. He came around to check on our experience and seemed to be authentically engaged. The staff is always ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious and...
Read moreI recently visited Spices Village Restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I had specifically ordered a vegetarian soup, but was instead served chicken soup. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, rather than apologizing or correcting the mistake, she simply stated that the vegetarian soup would not be served and made no attempt to address the issue further.
This lack of attentiveness and unwillingness to accommodate a basic dietary preference was quite frustrating, especially for someone who avoids non-vegetarian food. I expect better customer service and accountability, especially when it comes to food preferences or dietary restrictions. Even the waitress not gives the glasses for drinking water.
The ambiance and other aspects of the restaurant were decent, but such an experience truly overshadowed the visit. I hope the management takes note and trains their staff to be more careful and considerate...
