Desi Dhaba is a delivery kitchen outlet inside Om Heera Panna Mall @ Oshiwara. They serve North Indian, Chinese & Mughai cuisine.

DELIVERY Delivery took approx 30-40 mins ( Average time) .

PACKAGING Food items were packaged very well where the Rotis/ Naan were wrapped tightly in foil paper, each starter & curry was packed individually in boxes. Green mint chutney & Tomato Garlic chutney were also provided . Good packaging meant Food was delivered hot 👍

My Home Delivery Order was as follows :- Starters Tandoori Momos Hara Bhara Kebab Paneer Tikka Stuffed Mushrooms

Main Course We ordered Veg Kolhapuri Chef Special Stuffed Paneer Daal Makhani Jeera Rice

Desserts Chocolate Brownie Rabdi with Gulab Jamun

All 4 starters were mouth watering, tasted delicious with mint chutney & tomato garlic chutney provided as a side. The pricing for the starter portion is fantastic.

We ordered 4 types of Rotis :- Butter Roti, Missi Roti, Butter Naan & Cheese Garlic Naan. Butter Roti, Missi Roti were Soft & Crispy which was perfect with Stuffed Paneer. Butter Naan & Cheese Garlic Naan with Veg Kohlapuri & Daal Makhani was quite heavy but super delicious.

For Desserts we opted for Chocolate Brownie & Rabdi with Gulab Jamun

Brownie was soft, moist which was topped with chocolate syrup & dry fruit. All three combined balanced the sweetness quotient in this dish.

Rabdi with Gulab Jamun :- Small & Cute shaped Gulab Jamun dipped in tasty rabdi which literally melts in your mouth. Rabdi was on the sweeter side but you can’t complain when it’s this good.

Overall the food @ Desi Dhaba was really good for the portion served & price...

A Terrible Dining Experience

I recently dined at Desi dhaba which is located in sector 19, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai 410 209, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Here’s a detailed account of why I will never return:

Service: The service was abysmal. The staff were unprofessional, inattentive, and rude. We had to wait over 30 minutes just to get a menu, and it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. When it did, the order was wrong, and the staff seemed indifferent to our complaints.

Food Quality: The food was utterly disappointing. The dishes were cold, bland, and lacked any flavor. It was clear that little care or effort went into the preparation. For the price, I expected at least a decent meal, but what we got was far from it.

Ambiance: The ambiance was terrible. The decor was outdated and tacky, making the place feel uninviting.

Noise: The noise level was unbearable. There was no attempt to create a pleasant dining environment. The loud music combined with the noise from other diners made it impossible to have a conversation without shouting.

Seating Arrangements: The seating arrangements were poorly planned. The tables were cramped together with hardly any space to move. We were constantly bumped by passing waiters and other patrons, making the experience uncomfortable and claustrophobic.

In conclusion, Desi Dhaba failed on every front. I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer better service, food, and ambiance. Save your money and avoid this disaster of a dining...

Wouldn't recommend if you're visiting with female company.

We visited Desi Dhaba as a group of four after seeing some great reviews online, but our experience didn’t live up to the hype. Despite being a mixed group, we were seated in the regular upstairs section instead of the family area.

The environment there was quite uncomfortable. As soon as we entered, we were met with unsettling stares, and one individual—possibly intoxicated—started singing loudly "Aali Aali Aali..", while looking at one of my friends. Thankfully, a staff member quickly noticed and moved us to a more private, closed-off section, which was much better.

The food was underwhelming. Starters were too oily and overly salty. The rice was decent but nothing memorable. On the positive side, the service was prompt and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout.

Overall, this isn’t a place I’d recommend, especially for families or groups with women. There are definitely better options...
