As the name suggest it is famous for its biryani, i must say their biryani is very good in taste u can enjoy the aroma when the waiter serve u biryani, i have tried their many biryanis, but i like their mutton shahi biryani the most, good branding in mukhwas also, ample space for parking, clean washroom, only thing i don't like is that they charged more than MRP for bisleri water.
Edit update on 27/08/23 May be my fifth visit to this restaurant, my past experience i already updated earlier, rating them 1 star now reasons are behavior & attitude of waiter, dish are not justifying the price, Today i visited with my cousins, we ordered one mutton shahi biryani, one prawns shahi biryani, one chicken chilli boneless indian starter with wheat roti, waiter is useless to do his job, he brings all the food together, how anyone can have roti and biryani at same time, Mutton Shahi Biryani is filled with Bones only if we are paying 550 Rs we can expect 150gms of meat, but meat portion is too less, all the bones he served are without meat only, when we complain the same to waiter, his attitude is at next level, "Haddi to aayega hi aisa hai to boneless order karo", dish charge not justified, Now chicken Chill Starter, it cost some 400 to 500 bucks, hardly we find 10 small pcs of chicken pcs may be less than 100 Gms, dish is full of veggies like tomato, potato n capsicum, again we complain to waiter he said "ye aisa hi aata hai", dish charge not justified, (they served this dish along with roti cold) when we insisted they heat in microwave n serve, still roti we consume is not hot. When we ask the waiter to call the manager, he called the cashier, even he also doesn't apologise for waiter behavior and bad served food, literally all my past experience was really good, but today's experience is just horrible, please improve your basic ethics of customer handling, train your waiters, how to speak with customer, how to serve the orders, which item should be present on table first, I hope they will improve, because i like...
Read moreRecently we have visited the restaurant just because of the name the famous biryani but our experience was pathetic and worse would like to describe in detail.I have given one star just for the sitting arrangements and the ambience. OUR ORDER - we ordered veg oriental soup and Shahi Irani mutton biriyani Veg oriental soup - before order we asked about the soup the person explained it will be yellow in color with some veggies when we received the soup the texture was watery with red in color over spicy with very little veggies I couldn't have the soup my lips and tongue and throat was burning when I asked the person he said I will change it but he brought the same soup again in 5 min I just have to return it back without having it. Shahi Irani mutton biriyani - I don't understand in what way the biryani is famous it was tasteless way too oily quantity was ok with full of masala very little pieces of mutton didn't enjoy the lunch at all top of that it's very expensive I don't understand why they have to change too much for this pathetic biryani MAIN POINT - about the water when the person of restaurant asked us about water we said regular he gave us the bottle water and said this is regular and when we saw the bill the water was charged 10 rs extra on the MRP when we asked the maneger about it he said we are taking extra charge for cooling the water as I mean what kind of jock it is We have visited many restaurants when the customer ask for regular water they serve water from restaurant without charging if they can't provide normal or regular water they should not charge for the bottle water as well. SUGGESTION - should keep the experience and knowledgeable chef about the biryani as well soup. Also the water should be served free witch is the most basic and essential in restaurant. Should reduce the...
Read moreNational Restaurant has been serving delectable food since decades and when it arrives in Kharghar we are obviously going to try it out. Opted for a delivery since there is no dine-in allowed, their vast menu consists of quite a few cuisines which cater to all people.
Tried the following:
Chicken Irani Tikka: An absolute cracker of a kabab, the chicken was tender and so flavorful; the color was vibrant and just melts in one’s mouth, there was also a generous sprinkling of cheese. It comes with an Irani chutney that I’ve become a fan of.
Chicken Roast: Had roast chicken at quite a few places but this was the best I’ve had, the flavor and seasoning was amazing, it had a honey chili kinda flavor and served with roasted potatoes. Those who are not fans of Kabab’s or spiciness should definitely try it out.
Chicken Changezi with Laccha Paratha Butter: Soft cooked pieces of chicken with a delicious and aromatic gravy with laccha paratha is the best main course combo. The laccha paratha had the right amount aijwan and butter, the chicken was cooked perfectly.
Kebsa Rice: It’s a mix rice dish that originates from Saudi, the rice was flavorful and had the right amount of sauces/spices in it. Can be eaten plain or mixed with the chicken gravy.
Caramel Custard: Always a sucker for desserts and this one was amazing, the custard had pieces of saffron in it which takes the taste a notch up, the smoothness of the caramel is something to take note of.
The delivery was done on time and everything was packed tightly to avoid mishaps, also all safety precautions were taken which are important.
Overall one of the best places in Kharghar to order as they never comprise on quality and quantity. Will definitely order again and will visit once...
