I visited this restaurant twice during my stay in the area, the restaurant it is conveniently located near the highway with easy access. The place has a charming ambiance that immediately welcomes you, making it a pleasant spot for a meal. Below are my thoughts on different aspects of the restaurant:

Ambience: The atmosphere is lovely—clean and well-maintained, including the washrooms, which is always a plus. The dining area is spacious, with a decent amount of parking available outside. I especially liked the open counter where you can watch the live pizza-making process, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience.

Food: Across my two visits, I sampled a variety of dishes: Paneer Sizzler, Stuffed Kumbh Multani, Chef's Special Dessert, their signature Avenger Pizza, and Peppy Paneer Pizza. The paneer dishes were excellent, with the paneer being soft and flavorful. The Stuffed Kumbh Multani, which is stuffed mushroom with a sweet filling, didn’t suit my taste, but that could be a matter of preference. As for the pizza, while the pizza bread quality was impressive, the overall flavor needs improvement, especially if it’s being promoted as a specialty. Areas for Improvement:

Water Service: By default, the restaurant serves packaged water bottles. I personally prefer avoiding plastic waste, and when I requested regular drinking water, they served it in an old packaged water bottle. This could be addressed with better presentation and an environmentally-friendly option for water service.

Staff Communication: During my first visit, the waiter seemed unsure of the menu and was confused about some of the dish names. The staff could benefit from better training to communicate more confidently with customers, especially when explaining the menu.

Overall, the place has great potential with its inviting ambiance and promising menu, but a few tweaks in service and attention to detail would make the experience even better. I'll look forward to seeing these improvements on...

Mud Oven, situated on A B Road in Rau, is a delightful restaurant known for its charming interiors and comfortable seating area. Parking is easily available, ensuring a hassle-free visit. They offer a wide range of Indian and international dishes, catering to diverse tastes.

The restaurant's ambiance is inviting, with well-designed interiors that create a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. It's an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a meal with family and friends.

Mud Oven has built a reputation as an old and trusted brand in Indore, known for serving high-quality and delicious food. However, it's important to note that the prices are slightly higher compared to other establishments in the area.

While the food receives praise for its taste and quality, the service at Mud Oven could benefit from improvement. Although the staff members are generally attentive, there have been occasional inconsistencies in service. Enhancing the efficiency and attentiveness of the service staff would further elevate the dining experience.

In summary, Mud Oven in Rau is a well-established restaurant in Indore, offering a diverse menu and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Despite slightly higher prices, it continues to be a trusted choice for those seeking delicious food. With some improvements in service, Mud Oven has the potential to enhance the overall dining experience...

(a) Overview : As I had to host a senior executive in the city, I chose to dine at Mudoven, which I had crossed in the day earlier. It was a thirty minute drive from my location and parking was decent right in front of the restaurant.

(b) Ambience : Nice, with dim lights and a projector showing or displaying a cricket match. The table for three was quite comfortable and the seating was quite comfortable. We placed an order after going through the menu.

(c) Main course and drinks : We ordered a cold coffee and a mocktail. The cold coffee was delicious, had minimal sugar and I relished the chocolate syrup that was on top of it. The mocktail had distinct ice coming and was nice as the guests enjoyed it. The main course had one item of my choice, the vegetable rissotto which I had with chilly flakes. The guests wanted a Dhaba dal along with paneer which was offered with steaming hot tandoori rotis. The spice quotient of the paneer was slightly on the higher side, the Dhaba dal was the yellow coloured dal and had the least amount of calories to the delight of my guests who are fond of simple food and preferred the vegetarian palate in Rau.

(d) Overall : Slightly expensive, however service was good, the servers were prompt and courteous too. May consider if one is looking...

Hi guys , Visited the place, its situated in rau now, previously mud oven was situated behind c21 mall, before closing from vijay nagar the place became bad, like food wise taste, ambiance was ok. Now i visited mud oven rau and they have really worked on ambiance and sitting is comfortable , they have a lot of place to sit, but on weekend you can easily see yourself waiting for your turn just like OLD GK. Now talking about the food I tried their veg kothe, other than gravy the veg kothe totally tasted like manchurian service representative said this is how kothe is made. French fries were good. Soup were okay service was bad, it took 5 min to bring chow after the soup was served In Main course we took pistachio kofta and paneer taka tak and chilly garlic nan, paneer was okay, paneer didnt felt fresh and was hard , garlic nan was good , kofta was one thing that i liked truely. the service is slow, due to traffic and they are not able to manage it. If waiting time isnt a issue for you then you can give it a try, Overall they should work on service and taste specially in main course. The menu is big and is filled with starters Overall one time visit place for me

AMBIANCE: This restaurant is located in outskirts at Rau Indore. It's structure is a little different and the place is sober for dining. It's good for a dinning plan a little away from city. FOOD: The taste of the food is good. The quantity is less. We ordered, crispy corn, dry manchurian, paneer bbq, banarasi aalu, onion salad, paneer dum Biryani and missi roti, garlic naan, Butter naan, tandoori roti in Indian breads. *Bbq paneer was different in taste and can be ordered. It's in red gravy and sweet-spicy both. A general bowl of any dish may serve 4-5 people atmost. SERVICE: The staff is welcoming and soft spoken. The replaced a few items of which we weren't not satisfied. The service was quick. VALUE FOR MONEY: The place has average rates and at par. The quantity of a few dishes may seem less. But overall this place can be chosen for lunch and dinner dine inn. We spent some 1500/- bucks for 7 people.
