Complaint Against: Pinch of Spice, Sector 10, Dwarka Date of Visit: 23/08/2025 I want to raise a serious complaint about the unethical and illegal practices at Pinch of Spice, a restaurant located in Sector 10, Dwarka. During my visit on 23rd August 2025, I was charged more than the MRP for a canned soft drink — a clear violation of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011. As per the law, no establishment is allowed to sell packaged items above the printed MRP. However, when I questioned the staff and management about it, they refused to acknowledge or correct the overcharging. In addition, I was compelled to pay a service charge, which was added to the bill without any consent. As per government guidelines, service charge is completely voluntary and optional, and customers have the right to refuse it. When I tried to bring this up with the management, they were rude, dismissive, and refused to remove the charge, insisting it was “mandatory” at their restaurant. This experience was deeply disappointing, and more importantly, goes against consumer rights laid out by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India. I urge the concerned authorities like @jagograhakjago @consumerforum_ @DCA_GoI to take strict action against such practices. Restaurants should not be allowed to bully or mislead customers into illegal payments. I’m also sharing this publicly so others are aware of such tactics and don’t stay silent when their rights...

Read moreGood decor. The colour theory followed the the interiors is very pleasant to look at, and done in a modern Pinterest inspired way.
The food is okay. Here is a breakdown of what all I had and how I liked it: Kala Khatta Drink: very fresh. A little on the sweeter side but overall nice. butter Chicken (gravy): the chicken was dry, and flavourless. It wasn’t soft or succulent as you’d expect in a butter chicken dish. It tasted like it was cooked in a tandoor separately and then added into the curry. Butter chicken is done so well almost everywhere that this was very disappointing. Laccha Parantha: really good on the outside but was doughy on the inside. Butter Naan: good. There should have been more butter though. Much more butter Kadhai Paneer: disappointing. Nothing special, not even very tasty. Dal Bukhara: this is a must have. very well done. I loved it. The best thing amongst everything I had. Starters: Spring Rolls: very yum. The presentation, however, was very confusing and not the most smart way of giving the item. They serve 5 Spring rolls, each dipped in a different sauce in a shot glasses. It looked very innovative but really missed out on the functionality. Paneer Tikka: quite dry. Was okay Chilli Chicken: good.
The potion sizes were good. They also provide a sauf drink at the end, which I felt was a very sweet touch to the experience. The...
