KIND ATTENTION….OWNER OF DILLI DARBAR, SECTOR-6 DWARKA!! VERY BAD AND SLOW SERVICE BAD BEHAVIOUR & NOT ETHICAL STAFF SPEAKS RUDELY AND THREATENS
Despite informing two days in advance that we will be having lunch between 12.30 to 1 pm after 2 days, when we reached at 12.30, it was getting cleaned for which we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for cleaning to get finished (the restaurant’s opening time mentioned on Google/Zomato is mentioned as 12 noon…)….Moreover, during this wait time, they did not even serve water (despite repeated requests)…. When the food was ordered, firstly the service was so slow (although there was no other guests in the restaurant) that when breads came, main course vegetables/dals turned cold and vice versa. Further, despite confirming the order multiple times, incorrect order was served and then they took lot of time to replace it with the correct order… At the time of having lunch, the ‘so-called’ manager Mr. Vivek asks you ‘Aap aur kuch toh NAHIN lenge’ and when asked for the menu (for ordering sweet dish), he tells that ‘Cake toh aap kha hi chuke hain as sweet dish’…as if he wants you to not order anymore and wants you to leave early……..And then he tells us that he has not taken lunch so if we could speed up!!!! IT WAS A SHOCKER and never expected such attitude/response from a ‘so-called’ manager of a fine-dining restaurant (F&B industry).
While having lunch, there was smoke with aroma of spices coming from the kitchen as the kitchen door was broken and open all the time and it was becoming difficult to breathe and guests could not eat food as they were coughing….
Then finally icing on the cake was when they deny accepting payment through Magic Pin or Zomato stating all kinds of illogical excuses like the payment mode was not confirmed before placing an order or it is applicable for only 5 persons at a time etc…. (which are not even written in the T&C of these sites).
Then when we ask them to confirm T&C over these sites, another ‘so called’ manager Mr. Vinit speaks rudely and threatens us of facing dire consequences (as if we were at fault)….. During all the above discussions/scenarios, the manager position kept on shifting between Mr. Vivek and Mr. Vinit….but none of them was able to act as a MANAGER…….. Read moreYesterday, we was going in another restaurant at 3rd floor but the lift accidentally got stopped on the 2nd floor and we came out. We realized the same and were going up using stairs when one of their staff members stopped me and insisted me 3-4 times to try here and he assured me that we'll get the best food here. Being a teetotaller, I decided to visit this bar-free family restaurant. And, trust me it was my best decision.
As soon as I entered, I felt nostalgic because of the 90's SRK song tunes and the typical (though modern) vibe & ambience of a fine dine restaurant which I used to visit in my childhood with my parents. I was quite impressed to see these things. Then, on the table, the way the cutlery and other things were placed was very amazing. The staff was in service as if I am someone VIP - they were very professional and polite. We were 2 people (extremely famished) and ordered 2 items - Chilli Paneer Gravy & Singapuri Noodles.
The taste of both the items was just wow and the panner tasted so fresh. The quantity was too much that I had to even call my brother who was nearby but still we were not able to finish the entire food.
I highly recommend you all to visit this place at least once. I used to go to fancy & casual restaurants in south delhi which are very costly but now I think I'll come here only because of the quality, quantity...

My past 4 experiences: 1) & 2) they didn’t apply 50% off on drinks bill.. 3) they charged me price for greek salad rather than green salad.. 4) they charged for 11 drinks rather 9.. For the 1st time I saw the bill after paying it. After taking it up with their manager Mr Raman, he confessed that they had charged me wrongly and assured me that he will UPI me the remaining amount, which I am yet to receive.. then the 2nd time I faced the same issue, but due to my past experience at the restaurant I checked the bill and got it corrected before paying it so I got saved.. Then the 3rd time they charged me extra for the green salad by terming it as greek salad, which again got rectified before paying the bill.. Then today for the 4th time they added 2 drinks extra in the final bill.. when I insisted them to check the CCTV to confirm, they refused.. so i had to pay for the extra 2 drinks.. IT IS A GOOD RESTAURANT GIVEN THEY SERVE GOOD FOOD AND DRINKS AT REASONABLE COST.. BUT DO ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK...
