The owner here is Prashant Shitole having a franchise outlet at Kharadi, and Priyanka Sanket Shah who cordially extended the invite to PFF group, there were other invitees present as well.
We were served specialties from mallegi idli sambar, podi idli, devengiri idli, kanchipuram idli, Anna mysore masala dosa, Ragi dosa, Paper dosa with tantalizing chutney’s and piping hot sambar. Three different types of rice preparation. Followed by the sweet of the day ie yummy wheat payasam and Shera. Cooler ..Durwa Amrit, Malai kesar lassi were tasty.
The dishes had good portion size and pricing appears reasonable. There were some hits and misses. Overall a memorable experience.
Functional on Zomato and other platforms. With Prashant Shitole's expertise the staff is well trained, service is brisk and efficiency is key. However every new outlet will have it’s share of improvisation untill they settle down to business as usual .This place is already rocking and it’s awesome which means #Ramba_Nalla_Irku

Read moreEdit in 2025: Revisited this place, mainly because I was too caffeine-deprived and hungry to go elsewhere. They have made a lot of positive changes to the way they function. Their service has improved a lot, and they have become more client-friendly. I never had an issue with their food taste and quality, so seeing this positive change really made me feel good!
In fact the last time I went, I was so sleep-deprived that I literally held my head while I told the service-person to get me a strong, filter coffee. And the best part was, he realised my plight, understood that I was not angry / upset / rude / or any other epithets, and got me my coffee. He must have siblings, because later, when I was more human and less ogre, my sister told me that he had shared an amused glance with her and then gone off to fill the order.
However, I will still give them 4 stars, because one of the points that I look at is the loo, and this one's cleanliness could be waaaaay better.
5 years ago: Worst service experienced ever despite food quality being good.....
Would have given zero stars if possible. Worst service that I have experienced till now.
Did not even allow us to finish eating before the service person got our bill. I had been to wash my hands in the meantime as they do not provide finger bowls and my coffee was untouched on the table. He brought the next group of customers over to sit at the table. I walked off without drinking the coffee.
When I asked to see the manager, he was unavailable. The next most senior person heard me out, but did not have any inkling as to how to manage this situation.
Abhorrent experience....never going to visit this place again. Strongly suggest that you revisit your plans to go here in case you are thinking of...
Read moreAnna Idli is here to stay. After creating ripples in Baner, Kharadi and DP road it has come to Bibewadi. Classic interiors(artefacts are from chettinad), vast space, open kitchen, clean and hygienic environment, attentive staff, impressive menu sets it apart from other places. The menu is a combination of the usual and innovative. My favorites here were: Dhruwa Amrut – This is the showstopper here. Something which I tried reluctantly but fell in love with. Dhub grass with coriander, mint and ginger. Don’t let the ingredients fool you. Do try! Podi Idli – Bite size idlis sprinkled with podi masala n ghee. You can’t stop yourself from popping one by one the entire plate in your mouth. Had these been dunked in podi masala it would have been in a different level all together. Kanchipuram Idli - Spiced with cumin, pepper and ginger these were yummilicious. Accompanied with coconut chutney, sambar, vegetable stew, tomato chutney and khajur-imli chutney this was a wholesome meal in itself. Mallegi Idli – I was surprised to see a white muffin in front of me with ghee dripping from all sides. This one was deliciously yummy. I am sure the kids and elders alike with flip for this healthy delight. Gigantic Paper Masala Dosa – This one is to be enjoyed with the entire joint family/friends(aroud 8-10 people). The crispy dosa with a thin layer of red chutney was just fabulous. The strong refreshing cup of filter coffee was just apt to end the meal. With monsoons in full play this is the perfect weather to enjoy steamed idlis with piping hot sambar and strong filter coffee. If you haven’t been here already...
