Public Health Risk!

I usually don’t write such reviews, but this is beyond unacceptable. Cafe Arabia in VADGAONSHERI is not just serving bad food – they are serving stale, potentially life-threatening food that can cause severe food poisoning, vomiting, or worse – it could literally put someone’s life at risk.

Yesterday, I ordered food from this place and what I received was clearly stale and spoiled – the kind of food that any responsible kitchen would NEVER serve. Within hours of consumption, I experienced nausea and vomiting, which is a clear indication of severe food contamination.

When I raised the issue with them, instead of being concerned or apologetic, they tried to gaslight me, saying I “always complain.” This is not just poor customer service – this is manipulative and dangerous behavior. Blaming the customer instead of owning up to your mistake when you’re literally risking someone’s health? Unbelievable.

To make it worse, I am now being held liable for a cancellation fee of ₹700 – for refusing to consume potentially poisonous food. Let that sink in.

This café needs to be investigated by the FSSAI and local health authorities immediately. If this continues, someone could genuinely die due to their negligence and absolute lack of hygiene, quality control, and responsibility.

Do NOT order from this place. Avoid it at all costs. Your health and life are worth more than their excuses...

I was working late and didn’t want the usual greasy food that makes you feel sleepy right after, so l gave Cafe Arabia a try. I ordered the devil’s chicken wrap and a small portion of fries. First off, the wrap had that proper grilled feel slightly crispy on the outside, soft and packed inside. The chicken had a decent kick of spice, not the usual overpowering red chili kind, but a more layered heat that made it fun to eat. I was expecting a soggy wrap honestly, but it held up well. What I appreciated most is that it didn’t feel like “delivery food” — it had care in the way it was wrapped and seasoned. Even the fries were nicely done - lightly salted, still warm. Recently in office we were like let's go for some Arabic for lunch. Trust me it's hard to find authentic Arabic dishes in Pune. When it comes to Zaatar you have nothing. But this place serves you Zaatar Pita Bread and all Arabic dishes. We ordered a classic falafel roll and grilled chicken. The grill chicken was small in portion but sufficient for a person. The toum provided along with it was tasty and the salads. But once sauce was blunt and messed up. The falafel roll was good enough for one too. Overall the dishes were well packed.
