Good Taste & Service, But Hygiene Needs Improvement Cafe Zam Zam is a great spot for affordable and flavorful food, especially if you enjoy dishes made with buffalo meat. Almost everything on the menu, from kebabs to curries, is prepared using buffalo meat, which gives it a distinct taste. The flavors are well-balanced, and the meat is cooked to perfection. The service is quick and efficient, with friendly staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. However, hygiene is a major concern—the seating area and overall cleanliness need significant improvement. Another downside is the biryani, which lacks authenticity and feels more like spiced rice than a proper dum biryani. That said, if you're looking for budget-friendly, well-spiced buffalo meat dishes, this place is worth a visit. Just don’t expect much from the biryani or the hygiene!

Good place to dine if you are a Glutton Non-veggie. You come during Ramzan or any other Muslim festival, u will find the entire Street highly crowded with different kinds of people coming from all over Pune city. There will be Caterers who make sheds(as restaurants) only during festival times to accomodate more than 200 people. You will have number of options on Chicken, Partridge meat, Mutton, Fish, Beef, Biryani, Sweets, Falooda, Milk shakes, Bakery items etc... Only thing u might probably hate is TOO MUCH OIL IN EVERY FOOD u order. I had been twice in this week(1st June, 18). I used tissue papers to soak the oil off my food. Do visit this place - better than Pune Camp.

Overrated restaurant. They thought they are very good but in real average taste in food, ambience is old and not hygeinic, staff is also not good. 2-3 times I have taken parcel but it tastes is very much different than I expected. One time I did visit with my family as my parents were here, my dad like paratha/parottha which serves in pune hotels, so while ordering, he was giving instructions to waiter like "bhai paratha kadak/garam lana". Waiter replied "abhi kadak/garam nahi milega, pehle jo bana hai wahi milega". As we had already seated their so we ordered food and they served cold parathas which feels like rubber while eating. Very bad experience 2-3 times.

They should be polite with there customers they are were very rude while payment. Ihad ask for UPI scanner the who is handling the billing counter he said u can scan only when u spend 100/- or more that time I'm not carrying the cash that's why I had ask for it. He said" baithne se pehle check karna chaiye tha and all ki cash hai nahi hai aise kaise baith gye aana nahi tha aise etc. If you are sticking UPI scanner on the counter then u should take payment of Rs.10/- also as this is not mentioned any where even in Bank also that u are not allowed to pay amt of Rs.10 if you are sticking then u have to allow your customers to pay whatever there Bill it 10 or above 100 .if you don't want then remove it. Although the food and service was okayish, the problem lies in the fact that if you are not accompanied by a woman, you are not allowed to sit in the family room, even if the dining area downstairs is overcrowded with no place to sit. Why is it that even in the 21st century we still have to face this issue of primitive men trying to overprotect women with unnecessary protection they didn't even ask for! It is because of this separatist ideology that men feel disrespected and turn into animals and women have to suffer because of it. Really need to modernise yourselves on the professional front if not the personal. And if you are so pseudo protective about women, then don't even let men allow in your restaurant, period. Let's see how that works...
