Hotel Durga Biryani House — Restaurant in Pune

This place previously served pretty good. I have been in the locality for the last 8 years and have used their services often. However in the past 2 months their management has changed hands, and since then the quality of their key food items, e.g. the Biryani and the Mutton thali and Fry has really deteriorated. I have found the food to be half cooked, more spicy and less tasteful these days. I have tried providing them feedback on multiple occasions, but they (the supervisors & new management) are just Deaf and Dumb. This blatant apathy to customer opinion is really unpleasant. I was really upset, especially since I have been a frequent customer here and have myself been one the earliest patrons ("Thumbs-up" givers) to this place on Google reviews (about 4 years back). Besides the food quality, the ambiance of this place no doubt has been renovated, improved and is more spacious now. Its much better & lively now. But the young team (especially waiters and cooks) who have been hired to cater the services are just careless, insincere, irresponsible and are absolutely manner-less. They have absolutely no care and concern for customer satisfaction. These new people now are more like loafers, you will easily see them just loaf around the whole day in the restaurant area, no professionalism at all. Hence you would mostly see the college groups who are not much worried about service. Not many couples or families to be seen around here, who typically would expect a more polite and decent service.Many others usually pack their meals off from here, which is expected. So, to conclude, Its still not a decent place for family outing or with your partner. As for the food, I used to like this place only for its food earlier, but now even that has degraded, so that doesn't really leave any reason for even a Take-away parcel. We were initialy going to another hotel but that one was closes so we stopped here ok the way back. Best decision!!!.
