WE TRIED:-

1. Sev Tamatar Khichdi:- An absolutely delectable dish, which is packed with flavours of Indian spices, stewed tomatoes and crunchy sev. A meal in itself, was served with roasted papad and fresh creamy dahi. The feeling of an authentic indian dish was a part of its richness.

2. Schezwan Khichdi:- Our very own humble khichdi was cooked with a twist that left me spell bounded, I mean I could never have imagined this twist and taste could be attained in this desi dish. An amazing blend of spicy chilly-garlic flavour served with nachos, it is a must try dish.

Badam Halwa :- It was the perfect desi ghee dessert with dense , chewy and chrushed almonds , making the end of our meal an auspicious ocassion.

@khichdietc.pune has a wide variety of different flavoured khichdi, aiming to find a midway solution for kids and adults who don't have similar taste preferences when it comes to khichdi.

This cloud kitchen serves over 50+ variety of Khichadi 😍 Isn't that cool? When I think of khichadi, I imagine rice & dal cooked together with some lowest possible seasoning 😅 Still it’s one of my favorite meals in general. Their exotic Khichadis are here to change that imagination! Khichadi being their soul, along with that they serve some yummy desserts, Sabzi and more.

What did we try? *Amritsari Chole Khichadi, As the name suggests the dal khichadi had a punjabi touch to it. Chole and rice combination is truly unmatchabl, be it in any form. It was on the spicy side and was quite flavoursome. They had topped it with spicy sauted chickpeas and onions.The sauted chickpeas added the required crunch to the khichadi. Served with fresh curd, papad & pickle.

*Thai Khichadi, thai inspired twist to our traditional Khichadi. This fusion is definitely a superhit for me. It was prepared in Red Thai Curry, had many veggies like broccoli, zucchini and more. The curry was coconut based so very rich & creamy. It wasn't spicy, slightly sweetish due to the coconut milk and indeed will be enjoyed by any age group. It came along with crisp nachos & a mayo based dip. It was nothing but perfect! #MustTry

*Gulab ki Kheer, rice & milk based kheer with rose flavours. Fresh rose petals were used in the prep. It was perfect sweet not too sweet nor less. Again rice & delicious!

Overall, in love with the concept and food. Awaiting to try more. These Khichadis are the perfect meal when you’re craving something veg & flavour packed yet filling.

Khichdi is the most pocket friendly yet most nutritious food for Indian households. This is none!!

2-3 tablespoons of vaguely mixed items and they have jacked up the prices exorbitantly.

Koshari Khichdi, the so called combination of rice and macaroni has no trace of macaroni and is overloaded with garlic. Basically, no taste except that of garlic.

Saat Dhan Khichdi is a mix of seven grains, but neither have they mentioned the names of these grains nor have they put them in the dish. Adding kidney beans instead of grains seems to be their version of completing 7 grains!!
