Padma Restaurant And Bar — Restaurant in Pune

This restaurant cum bar is crowded usually. But they have enough space to entertain the crowd. From outside it looks like it's full. But once you go inside there are available tables for you. Now about the food, with a less waiting time (services are really good in here) I have had Surmai Tawa fry, which was fresh piece of fish, less oily and tasted good. Then it's time for the Chicken Rogan Josh. The Rogan Josh has to be the one of the most sophisticated Mughal dish, rich in flavours. It is a curry which is cooked slow WITH meat pieces till the meat leaves it's flavour into the curry, gets tender, which makes the curry thicker. Its definitely not pre-boiled pieces of meat dropped and boiled in the runny curry right before the serving. Not only this particular dish but many other dishes in many other restaurant are made in this way. There name changes but the taste remain the same. If you really want to taste some really good COOKED meat, go to 'Ahilyadevi's Thali', their menu may be short but that will give you a good memory of taste...
