PARATHA HOUSE — Restaurant in Pune

It's been more than a year since I started eating from this shop. By one year I mean every day - almost every day unless the shop is closed. The main reason being - you get a homely food. Though the items available are mostly chapati sabji, parathas, a proper meal and a couple other things, this place stands its name for quality. All the items are prepared with quality oil and you can personally see the making at the stall. The shop is small - a small shop kind and is not suitable for those planning to have a dinner kind with family but is suitable if you can sit there and eat in a small group. Especially if you a working profession like me and don't find time to cook but needs some quality and home tasting food, this is the best stop. I usually find families taking parcel from here a lot, including myself. Costs are very low as compared to other shops (you can personally check) . I can guarantee - if you taste here once, you might consider coming back on regular basis.

You also get special dahi vada (I don't eat this often but whenever I eat I find it good). We got used to rate places based more on ambiance, AC and facilities and under-rate those stalls which look small but deliver the right products. Do try it for yourself and you will get to know by yourself.

All I can say is I'm still surveying in Pune because of finding proper dinner here (I'm from South India), else I would've to suffer eating half baked rotis with super-oily sabjis, which, fortunately not the case with this shop. I will continue dinning here as long as I'm near to this location and as long as I'm a bachelor :P
