Yes it's hard work which makes you good but it takes even harder to stay there.
I am changing my 5 star rating to 1 star today after 9 months because:
paneer tikka masala is now sweet at pind punjab dal tadka had atleast three times salt butter roti had uncooked parts after requesting for glass we got 2 only for a family of 4. Good we all 4 were from family so we could reuse the glass within ourself. onion came after 5 mins of food after requesting twice because we were told kitchen was too busy. May be other restaurants where we get onions may not have that busy kitchen. for eating rice we there was no spoon given and we had to ask three times to get the spoon as the person serving bought 1 spoon at a time. last but not the least there was no finger bowl .. may be because kitchen was too busy to provide hot water .. didn't checked as I was quite frustrated by this time and wanted to leave ASAP.
And worst part was when I gave my genuine feedback to owner he agreed to few things but said..
"I will give you 1 month free food if paneer tikka is sweet"
Really?? People go to restaurant to find an option to get free food? Or it was ego which took over?
It's important to think and revisit why there are so many 3 star or less in last 3 months...
My 9 month old comment below: Pind Punjab means real Punjabi taste along with...
Read moreWRONG ORDER SENT! 3 stars for the tasty food though!! We've ordered 3 curries, 1 chicken biryani and we were sent 1 dish (I.e chicken biryani wrong). After calling the restaurant back, firstly, they did not believe that they've sent a wrong order! Kept saying, tell me what's on the plate, even after telling , he said , no you should find chicken pieces in the rice, even though the rice was veg tava rice with vegetables and chicken pieces ! After 15 mins, guy said, he will send the biryani, but send the wrong dish back, my 7 yo daughter ate the chicken pieces whilst we were talking over the phone, it was unintentional, she wasn't aware that weve to send this back! The new order received and the delivery guy kept on asking (10mins) for the chicken pieces, we tried to convince him, later we have given a chicken piece from chicken curry we had ordered to send him back! We did ask to take money as our daughter ate the 4 tiny chicken pieces (they were really tiny ones) !
This showed that the restaurant doesn't believe the customers, and this whole asking the dish back was really a torture ! Our food went cold, we really didn't enjoy eating! And all this in front...
Read moreFirst of all, let me say that i have always liked food at Pind Punjab. But one experience can change a lot of things and I think this is where reviews help. It gives people a chance to know the unknown and also serves as a feedback for the service providers. Back to the point, i went to Pind punjab as it is closer and i loved food there but this time a chicken piece in a pure vegeterian dish made all my impressions bad. I am a non vegeterian but my friend wasn't and we shared the same paneer dish. It can be very hard for a non vegeterian to understand how a vegeterian may feel when one sees a chicken piece on his plate in a veg dish. The restaurant owner accepted the fault but provided no assurance of how it can be avoided in future. Turns out they don't have separate kitchen for veg and non veg. Somewhere someone made a mistake in that kitchen and the result is this long review. Faults are completely OK but nothing is more important than not making it again and again. I am hoping it will not happen again. I didn't get any such response from them though. So please be aware when you...
