Shorba Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Pune

It was delighted experience. Tasty BBQ and lot of options...!

To brief the background, there were many negative reviews confused me while reservation in fact I was unsure till we board this deck.

Once the barbeque served, there were adequate heat / coals to warm the skewers. All meats (fish, chicken, seafood) was very tender getting perfectly done on barbeque over table. There were 6 non-veg varieties in starters which I feel enough over barbeque, we had 2 veg portions as well.

You can see salad options, in mains; there were 4 grevay and curry options. Veg had 2 Indian and 2 continental options, 2 varieties in Daal, 3 varieties in rice (2 veg / 1 non-veg) and 5 sweets desserts.

In my view, when I plan visit at barbeque restaurant; I am focusing meal over the BBQ options. The other buffet just to complement (in other words distract ;) from barbeque) Sweet are something which can conclude any meal. Considering this aspect, this place is up to mark at this price point.

However, there is scope for service improvement as during peak times I see couple of tables reminded their drinks...

Food - Food is very good, there is quite a lot of variety as well, most dishes are medium spicy. Ambience - This restaurant tries to provide you a fine dining experience, but at some places it lacks the type, although for the prices in the restaurant, its not up to the mark. Staff - Service is good and fast although hotel management ethics are absent where this place lacks on the Fine dining restaurant part. Also there are points where the staff will stand at a corner and Stare you, which is very uncomfortable. Day by day the quantity of the food is getting decreased. Today I visited Shorba and ordered tandoor lollypop, the size of each lollypop was so less that chicken nuggets is also bigger than the chicken lollypop provided to me. The lollypop was having only one bite of chicken. horrible. when I complained, the captain told that we can't do anything and the bill amount received was for total lollypop price mentioned in the menu.
