Tales & Spirits Hunter's Bistro — Restaurant in Pune

I recently took my team out for lunch at Tales and Spirits. We ordered a variety of starters, main course dishes, and drinks. While the food tasted good overall, I had a deeply disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share.

I had ordered a lychee pina colada, and after taking a few sips, I noticed an ant in the drink. I immediately brought this to the attention of the waiter, who acknowledged it and took the drink from my hand. However, despite my repeated requests to return it so I could take a picture, he refused. In fact, he deliberately stirred the drink to hide the ant, which felt like an intentional attempt to cover up the issue rather than address it transparently.

This kind of behavior was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I expected a far more responsible and mature response from an establishment like Tales and Spirits. I spoke to the manager on duty, and while they offered a complimentary dessert as compensation, they downplayed the seriousness of the incident. They insisted that since they had "compensated" us, there was nothing more they could do. At no point did they truly acknowledge the gravity of a hygiene lapse like this.

This experience was a reminder that even at high-end places charging premium prices, basic hygiene and customer respect cannot be taken for granted. Instead of taking ownership of the mistake, the staff prioritized protecting their reputation over ensuring customer trust and safety. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff to handle such situations with more integrity and...

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at T&S! The food was nothing short of exceptional — every dish was a perfect balance of flavors, beautifully presented, and made with the finest ingredients. We tried Mutton sukka, udon noodles, mee goreng, Tom kha soup, roasted carrot n Coriander soup, thai chicken dumping soup, chimichuri grilled chicken, charmoula malai paneer Tikka and red velvet roll(must must try) And actually to mention dal khichadi- never had like it before!

The ambience was equally impressive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the evening feel truly special. On top of it all, the service was impeccable — attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring without ever being intrusive. It's rare to find a place that excels in every aspect, but T&S has truly mastered it.
