I visited Cafeana in PPR Market on a Sunday evening with my family. Budget friendly with extended variety in buffet which includes paneer, mix veg, chana, kofta, karhi, champ, pasta, noodles, pizza servings, butter naan, lachha parantha, missi roti servings. Delicious Food. The only downside is because the place remains highly crowded, so nearly 30 minutes waiting period is there, only 6 tables sitting space/arrangements, therefore lots of people have to wait, and as no one likes to wait, it causes chaos and mismanagement, customer waiting for their turn to dine-in and the waiters start expecting diners to leave quickly. We were still eating, but stood up for managing our kids, the waiter maybe assumed we are leaving, so immediately came and picked up all the plates. There is some room for improvement. However, the owner and staff were generally nice and polite. We also felt their AC was overwhelmed, little more cooling was required. The female cook at the start of cooking area slammed the door, when it was opened by their waiters bringing the prepared food. I was looking inside their kitchen when she slammed the door, so felt like not a good gesture. Not a place for sophisticated dining. We also took takeaway and they supplied food in abundance, the container was completely filled, and provided more than required Naans with takeaway. They were open to feed us as much as we want. Highly Recommended for being budget friendly, variety and taste of food. And appreciate their initiative to bring this wonderful quality and variety food in a budget friendly...

Rating: 1/5
I recently visited Cafenea, located in PPR Mall, Jalandhar, expecting a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were shattered, and I left feeling disappointed and frustrated.
The buffet spread, which promised over 40 items, was a letdown. The quality of food was subpar, and more than half of the dishes were served cold. As someone who values good food, I was shocked by the lack of attention to detail in the kitchen.
What's even more surprising is that the owner, a Sardar Sahib, didn't bother to ask any customers for feedback. In today's competitive restaurant scene, customer reviews are crucial, and it's alarming that the management doesn't seem to care.
But what really took the cake was the exorbitant price of water. Yes, you read that right! Water, which is a basic necessity, was charged as a hidden fee. As a customer, I find this unacceptable, especially in Punjab, where water should be freely available.
In conclusion, my experience at Cafenea was a disaster. With poor food quality, cold dishes, and expensive water, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The management needs to take customer feedback seriously and work on improving the overall dining experience.
Pros: None
