Gupta bakery — Restaurant in Punjab

One of the oldest and the best bakery shop in the East Mohan Nagar area, Amritsar. We have tasted almost everything from cakes to cream rolls, pastries, patties, biscuits, cake rusk, stuffed kulchas. Everything is just amazing and tasty. The taste is same, intact as it use to be years ago. The best of everything is the black forest cake and cream rolls - very fresh and yummy. The bakery is well located in the market area with accessible entrance and parking space. I think, now new generations might have come ahead to take up the legacy of this bakery. They have a new setup for cakes and biscuits at the majitha road near petrol pump. We haven't tried this one but the old one is just the same and the uncle sitting there as well :) I am not sure whether they are registered in the food delivery apps or not but I wish if it is then I am definitely gonna love that. I’ve been a customer since I lived 3 houses away from this bakery in childhood.

GOOD Things: This bakery is a good option for the middle class. The taste is good according to the price. Their good old paneer patties have no match. It’s fine if you get your food packed and take it away.

BAD Things: No billing system; they only accept cash.
Sometimes it becomes a little hassle when you’re not carrying cash. Not improving: It’s always crowded, so their sales seem to be very good.
They keep increasing the prices, so the profits must also be good,
but even then, there’s no proper sitting arrangement;
the bakery is the same very small and crowded, with the same below-average customer service, & old interior since many, many years.
They should’ve upgraded the bakery like...

We used to visit this bakery since we were kids. It was nearest to home so we use to visit bakery almost everyday. Since then almost 40 years we still visit this bakery. I am in Canada now and i even in Canada I tried many cakes but Gupta bakery cakes are the best. My husband who is not even from Punjab and he ate cakes and pastries from this bakery and even he says same that Gupta bakery is best. But i wonder why owner is not trying online system or why they are not creating a website so that if people wanna order from abroad or far away a cake or something for their family members in Amritsar like at least nearby areas, or at least...
