Haandi Dum — Restaurant in Punjab

Probably one of the best places to have kathi rolls in Mohali. They have a long list of rolls available with them.

Egg roll which costs ₹30 only tastes so good that you might consume two of them in a single visit. Chicken roll is amazing! You can really taste the juicy meat and different sauces and spices inside the roll. However, I was a little disappointed with the veg roll as it was having more sauces than veggies. Paneer tikka roll is a delight for vegetarians. Never tried anything else from their menu except rolls so can't say anything about main course and other stuff.

Also, I really wish that the waiting time could be a little less. Most of the time I had to wait for more than 20 minutes to get my hands on a kathi roll.

Before Roll Express and other outlets came into being, this was one of the few outlets serving delicious kathi rolls. But now many others have come up and giving tough competition to each other, offering better rolls and have less waiting...

This place used to be one of my MOST FREQUENTED places for Rolls.

TASTE: Decent. MONEY: Not bad at all. SERVICE: You gotta wait a lot in the evenings. STAFF: At least one guy's not courteous at all.

Given them a lot of BUSINESS. NOT ANYMORE!

For a simple, plain reason... Their Changed Attitude. At this particular Phase-7 booth (which is the original), they've a guy who accepts the orders when the Owner's not there. Whereas the Owner is neither too courteous nor rude, this other guy is simply an EGOTISTICAL ASS - who shows off a Rotten attitude to the Customers, is Rude (to say the least) and thinks he's doing a favor to everybody by doing what is his job (to attend t customers and process their orders).

Told this in-person to the Owner too. However, on my recent trips, didn't see a change.

Hence, last post/review on this. And as mentioned earlier, No More Business from my side...

Onw of the worst outlet in terms of food service to customer. They don't care about whether you are standing waiting for your turn but they will keep on preparing for the online orders of Zomato and Swiggy. Offline customers like us keep on waiting for 35-40 mins to get their order delivered. Today I waited for 40 mins as my token no was 60 but they skip the token no. From 57 to 65 and completely forgot about mine token no 60. To my surprise order was not even started even after 30 mins. Highly disappointed. Never going again there and will recommend others to do as well.....
