Pappa Ji Dhaba — Restaurant in Punjab

I have been eating chicken from Papa Ji Dhaba for more than 10 years now. It is a good place to have food with family or friends. But don't bring more than 5 people because the seating arrangement is very tight. Before renovation the seating arrangement was horrible. It looked like a dirty place full of people. But after renovation you can comfortably sit inside and enjoy your meal in a clean place.

Chicken made by them is one of the best available in Phase 7. Chicken dishes like butter chicken, masala chicken, chilly chicken, cream chicken or karhai chicken are very good in taste. Chicken pieces are soft and juicy and the gravy is also delicious. Quantity is good. Veg dishes are however a little disappointing. They can be improved.

Chicken and fish snacks are also tasty. I really like the barbecue chicken from Papa Ji Dhaba. I have it often. Coming to service, it is really slow. It takes them a lot of time to serve the dishes and breads. The staff is not friendly. They never have smile on their faces. Sometimes they forget what you ordered them to bring next. Excellent place to enjoy tasty non vegetarian and veterinarian dishes. Our favourite is Pappa Ji special chicken (mix of Paneer chicken and mashroom) , Afgani chicken, malai tikka and grill chicken. Their nan and rooti are also excellent. You can also place home delivery orders or collect the take away. Evening time, you will find them really busy as they are taking order for Tandoori and Grill. In recent past they have renovated their restaurant and now it looks much better. Families and youngsters both love to come to this place to enjoy tasty food. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Mohali city 7 phase and have got ample space in front. You can easily park your car or bike and enjoy your favourite cuisine. Staff is also well trained and the manager/ owner is also courteous. Every time we have been to Pappa Ji Dhaba we have enjoys sumptuous food. I am from Los Angeles CA and it was my first time coming to North India. I wanted to eat something flavorful and good because we are “ foodies “. My husband and I came a cross this restaurant through Yelp. I am so happy we did because the BBQ chicken was something that I have never eaten in my life.
