HALDIRAM'S — Restaurant in Punjab

Went with family for dinner as it's a new outlet but experience hadn't been a pleasant one.... It's a self service restaurant and still kitchen service was very poor.... Too much time for pre paid order and then more longer waiting time for order preparation.... No one to take care off.... While having dinner, when I went for an extra butter nan, had to follow a long queue again for it.... So better order once and all for all your needs.... Again kitchen staff took quite long for preparation and meanwhile there wasn't any desire to eat it..... Moreover it was written @89/- for butter nan but I was charged 95/- for same.... May be they wanted to make it round figure of 100/- including taxes but it's weird..... Kids bought pack of kidies chocolate which shows price of 100/- but again charged 105/- n when asked , person at counter said just wait have to confirm from senior.... But wasn't able to find a senior in 5 mins so had no choice but either to buy or leave n with kids u can't opt for 2nd. So overall it was an experience far from...

Over expensive food with below average taste is being served here. I tried channa bhatura, north indian thali, puri channa and golgappe. Nothing felt like giving a second visit here. They must learn to cook from haveli or patwari. Lack of knowledge of punjabi taste, food and culture is there drawback. Moreover, to order the food, you have to stand in long queues and then have to bring food to table by yourself through all the bustling. Although, the atmosphere is good if you jus want to sit and relax....

Worst place ever…all the time we had to stand in long lines as its a “ SELF SERVICE” restaurant.. huh Haldiram is just into making profits & poor customer service. Really disappointed & frustrated from going there on saturday night.

No time to enjoy with family & friends bcz all the time we had to spend waiting in lines to buy coupons for food items that we wished to eat…also the food quality...
