Read moreKatani Sweets and Dhaba, located in Mohali, is a well-known spot among locals and travelers for its wide range of vegetarian dishes and authentic Punjabi cuisine. Over the years, it has earned a name for serving delicious and homely food, especially traditional Punjabi favorites like dal makhani, shahi paneer, chole bhature, and butter naan. The dhaba-style ambiance adds a rustic charm to the dining experience, and the staff here is friendly, courteous, and attentive to customer needs.
However, with time, many regular visitors have noticed that the taste and quality of food have slightly changed compared to what it used to be earlier. The signature flavor and rich aroma that once made Katani a must-visit destination for food lovers seem to have lost a bit of their old magic. Despite this, the restaurant continues to attract a steady crowd due to its reputation, cleanliness, and comfortable seating arrangements.
One of the main highlights remains their sweet section, which offers a tempting variety of traditional Indian sweets such as gulab jamun, rasgulla, and barfi. These are freshly prepared and maintain a good standard of quality and taste. Parking and accessibility are also convenient, making it a good option for family outings or small gatherings.
Overall, Katani Sweets and Dhaba still holds its place as a trusted vegetarian restaurant in Mohali. While the taste may not be as exceptional as before, its good service, ambiance, and variety keep customers...
