Platters Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Punjab

I recently with my friends had the displeasure of dining at this Restaurant, and i must say, it was a truly awful experience from start to finish. To begin with, the food was nothing short of revolting. I ordered the steak, hoping for a succulent and flavorful meal, but what we got was a tough, overcooked piece of meat that tasted like rubber. The accompanying sides were equally disappointing; the grilled fish were lumpy and tasteless, while the vegetables were clearly undercooked and lacked any seasoning.

To add insult to injury, the staff's behavior was shockingly unprofessional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with indifference and apathy. It seemed like the servers were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the needs of their customers. When I finally managed to capture someone's attention, I was met with a disdainful look and a barely audible response to my requests.

Furthermore, the wait time for our food was ridiculously long, and there was no attempt to communicate or apologize for the delay. At one point, I had to flag down a server to inquire about the status of our order, only to be met with an annoyed response and a dismissive attitude.

The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was also a letdown. The dim lighting, coupled with the dingy and unclean surroundings, made for an unappetizing dining experience. It felt more like eating in a poorly-maintained cafeteria than a proper restaurant.

Needless to say, I would strongly advise anyone looking for a decent meal and friendly service to steer clear of this Restaurant. It was a complete waste of time and money, and I left feeling thoroughly disappointed and...

Quality and taste degrading day by day. Prices are going up and high. Usually prices go higher with quality and taste, but here this funda is not working. Platters : taste awkward, no crisp, not yummy Dal Makhni :: taste sweet , Punjabis don't like sweet Dal Mushroom Masala: just boiled mushroom with gravy without taste Kadhai Paneer : no taste, even Honey Dhaba, Money Dhaba makes better Kadhai Paneer

Believe me guys, you have many alternate options in Bathinda city where atmosphere and service is cool, where in similar or less prices, you will get better taste and better quality. You must try Haveli, Moti Mahal, Pizzano, etc for better taste and quality. Even Billing staff in Platters are non supportive, no smile, no greet, no hospitality manners. I have visited 4 times here in Platters for snacks and food with colleagues, family, friends. Every time I expected "Shayad is baar badhiya hoga" and tried some new things, but got nothing good.

So my final review is to never visit again. We have many more alternates in Bathinda city. Should ignore this one.

Saw reasonable review of the place on Google and decided to visit. Here is an honest review. The ambience was good but slightly crowded. The waiting staff needs to improve or maybe the management can hire temporary help during peak hours. Otherwise be prepared to draw their attention to your table. The drinks (cocktails) were a bit away from the expected taste - with the typical 'get high quick' feel of so many restaurants! The food was nice-ish though. Overall expect to pay about 2k for drinks and food for two. Expensive by Bathinda standards..

Update: visited it again with someone. The standards have improved somewhat....
